ZXFOOG Black License Plate Screws, Anti Theft 1/4" Stainless Steel Bolts

Put a 8647 license plate on my truck and caught multiple people trying to steal/deface it. Swapped the screws for these security ones and now people give up before they start. People still suck, but at least now my stuff isn’t getting stolen.

Ordered a third set of these license plate security screws; one silver and two black. They look great and work perfectly. They come with everything needed, including the security bit, vibration dampening pads and plastic caps. When you consider how much of a pain it would be to replace you license plate, these are a bargain. Plus, my vehicle is black, so I added a black license plate frame and these black screws just disappear, improving the entire look of the vehicle. Highly recommend.

Looks like a nice kit but screws are too small for license plate.

I received the product but found that the bolts were too long and with a slightly larger diameter than what was holding my license plate to the frame. I wrote to them and they were very responsive and wanted to know the correct size bolts/ screws I needed. They promptly sent another set of fasteners, which I received a few days ago. The replacement set took about a couple of weeks to arrive. The fasteners were stainless steel, so I painted them black and installed them with the provided proprietary hex head wrench. While it would have been better to receive the correct size fasteners the first time, the responsiveness of the seller makes up for the issue. I hope to never have to find out if these work because license plate theft is increasing in my community. At the very least it'll be a deterrent and they will move on to another car that's easier. It's sad that we need to do this and crime seems to be increasing.

With theft of License Plates on the rise, these security screws will make it more difficult for a casual theft to take your plates while you are at the mall. I like that the black screws blend in with the grill of the car. I highly recommend this.

The screws stay on the vehicle, but they rusted after less than one year

Wife caught some tweaker removing her license plates and so I was tasked to fix it. These work great but the little plastic covers don’t really fit. I really don’t care about the covers but, if I did, a little dab of clear silicon on the inside of the cap would secure the covers.

Very disappointed. The instructions show a screw, but all they sent me were bolts and they don’t fit into their plastic nut that they sent. I took too long to use it and the cancellation window expired so this is getting thrown away. Worthless.
