The picture of the app shows power, is that really on the app when using speed and cadence sensor together?

I'm not sure how it would work on a real bike, but I use this on my spinner bike with Zwift, and what happens is the two sensors work together to create an estimate of power based on speed and cadence. Though it works well enough to get a workout and ride around on Zwift with a fixed gear spin cycle, the estimate is flawed because the faster I pedal, the faster the wheel spins, and the higher my power.

It might work differently on a road bike with gears, where for example on a hill, you can produce high cadence and slow speed and vice versa low cadence and high speed on a flat or downhill. In any case, while it will produce a watts reading, it will likely be far less accurate than using a smart trainer or power meter crank/pedals.

Can you use this to track distance?

Yes, this sensor counts wheel revolutions, and if you have told the app how big the wheel is, it will measure distance traveled. The CycleBike+ (Amazon app ASIN: B01ANZYMDM) and CycleBike Smart (Amazon ASIN: B01N364PZR) Android apps use GPS to calibrate the wheel and combine the speed sensor and GPS data to measure distance.
