I'm a watercolor beginner, and this paper takes a lot of abuse. Unfortunately I cannot compare it to others, as it is the first I have used. When properly secured with tape, it can take multiple washes, hairdryer and plotting without warping. It will warp when not taped down. However, it still seems to dry nice and flat without having to press it. The spiral binding is a bad choice of binding (especially at that size), since nobody will use the paper within the pad. So get your Exacto knife ready.

I purchased this item because of the size. A standard piece of watercolor paper measures 30 inches by 22 inches; this is just a standard established for watercolor paper. This is the first time I have ever seen a tablet for a half sheet of watercolor paper, so naturally I had to buy it.

This is really nice watercolor paper. It is cold pressed so it has not too bumpy texture. The thickness and hardiness of the paper is one of my favorites. The paper is perforated on the edge so you can tear it out fairly easy.
