(Nyssa aquatica) Southeast United States. Larger blocks are sawn to +/- 1/4" of size listed, smaller blocks +/- 1/8". Spindle stock (1-1/2" - 2") dimensions are +/- 1/8". I am an avid wooden bird carver and I use power toolsfor all of my bird carvings, the block of tupelo I purchasedfrom you was hard as a rock, after several attempts tocarve, I just threw it into my firewood bin.
