Beard Care Kit by Mountaineer Brand: All-Natural, Complete Beard Care in one Kit (WV Pine Tar)

So far I can only speak on behalf of the Pine Tar variant of their products, but so far I am quite pleased with my purchase. The products smell and work wonderfully. One of my favorite aspects of the products is that there are no synthetic ingredients, for me that is a huge deal. I did notice a previous review indicated that the balm was thick and left the gentleman feeling greasy towards the end of the day. Although the balm is thick coming out of the can, it has not been my experience that it leaves a thick and greasy residue, and I'm lead to believe this happened because the gentleman applied too much of the balm. It does not take very much, just a small dab on your finger, rub around your palms and hands, then spread throughout your beard, and working into the tips. I would absolutely recommend this product to someone who is looking to take better care of their beard.

Mountaineer Brand is absolutely amazing. I am growing my beard back and needed a product to maintain that goal. Well after reading a lot of online reviews, this and another product were the two I wanted. Well when I was shopping, I found that the Mountaineer Brand was cheaper and had more than the other brand had to offer. I was hesitant on order the WV Pine Tar, since it was the only one that was offering same day delivery. Well recieved my package the same day and used the product. The WV Pine Tar smell wasn’t over powering, which I was worried about. But it was light and pleasant. This product did what it was supposed to do. My beard felt clean and soft from the beard wash and the balm and oil groomed my beard into shape. So over all I highly recommend this product.

Was getting tired of my beard looking all crazy and out of whack so I decided to give oil/balm a try for the first time since I started growing it out. I have to say I love the beard balm and the wash. Keeps my skin nice and soft and flake free and keeps my beard looking nice and solid shape! Smell is just ok but the balm wash and brush are all great!!

I got the pine tar scent and overall i like it. The beard wash is good, and makes by beard feel clean and healthy, just not very soft. The scent of the oil and balm is a little strong for me, and they both go on very heavy and thick compared to other brands ive used. Overall its good, but i wouldn't buy again.

I have had the kit for 3 or 4 nights now. The wash is wonderful, as is the oil. One thing I have noticed is that oil isn't really effective unless your beard is damp. The packaging mentions it works best when damp, but I have found it is a must. The only product I haven't used is the balm. But my beard is about a month old, and I don't really need a balm yet. The brush is awesome, I love how it feels. Overall, if you are interested in taking care of your beard, this kit is an amazing starting point.
