Limited room
Because the corners are indented there is limited room for decora. You have to nut and bolt the switch and receptacle to the plate. Not as expected.

Exactly what I needed, but a LOT of work with a smart switch
I have a small workshop that goes back to the 1890's. Adding electricity to the workshop, I didn't want a lot of plastic, as it wouldn't really look right. I chose surface mounted metal boxes and metallic flex conduit. Once that decision is made, it's tough to stray off that choice. So when I decided to add a smart switch for the exterior light that could be Alexa voice activated ("Alexa, Path lights on") I knew that I would have a tough rewire job inside that metal box. Surprisingly, the rewire in the box wasn't that bad, but getting the smart switch to fit was tough due to the notched corners of this faceplate. And if you want to keep the metal box and faceplate, then you really have to take that next step. So be forewarned. You will need a Dremel tool with a cutoff blade, a utility knife (to trim off the melted plastic excess) and patience and time. And likely a Band-Aid. The result is it works and looks good. I've attached a few pictures to let you see what it takes.
