I've always loved Tangs flavor. It's so easy to make but requires a better measuring cup. It's in there but not on top. This dual pk is a great bargain & perfect for your thirsty kids active on summer break.

Loved this as a child, & love it now since the dr told me to drink more water; less expensive flavor additive to water than all the individual 8 0z packets. My late father-in-law was one of the inventors of Tang!

As a child of the 1950's, I grew up with Tang. Haven't had it for years. The doctors all want me to drink more water. The rest of the family drinks water by the gallon it seems, but despite various filtration systems we have on hand, I don't seem able to get much of H2O down. I will think, "Oh, I just drank a lot," then realize I've only consumed maybe a half cup. Somehow, with the addition of a little Tang, I've turned into a chug a lug. I don't know how great this orange stuff is for one's health, although, it did help to get men up to the moon and back if I recall correctly, but I'm thinking it can't be all bad. I actually like it quite diluted and over ice, all of which means I'm mostly drinking water, right? It's funny, I always thought of this as orange flavored, but it tastes rather like tangerines to me now, hence, I guess, the reason why it's called "Tang." Something I never thought of as a kid. The only negative caution I have is regarding acid reflux which I have. If I drink to much of this, I do start getting some reaction that way. Yet, I find I'm craving it so maybe I need the vit C just the same. Afraid I haven't read the ingredients and don't intend to. I'm sure it's not as good for me as fruit juice, but I've never been much of a juice person. Or a water person. But this suits my taste well. It's pretty easy to mix, although I couldn't initially find the scoop. It was hiding half way down in powder. But experiments with using a tablespoon worked well for me at about 5 or 6 spoonsful per 2 quarts. As I said, though, I like it over ice and diluted a bit more.

I purchased this to use in my 'friendship tea' and it is just as it should be. I don't add sugar because the tang is sweetened. Worked as I hoped. Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. I used TANG to keep myself hydrated aboard my boats for many years, and yes, it is mostly pure sugar, but it is the only thing I could find that actually tasted like 'orange', and her in the tropics, it is mostly a case of drinking beer or water to keep the body functioning. TANG made it so easy to quickly mix up a batch of something pleasant to drink on a hot day that didn;t need to be refrigerated. The only problem with TANG is that tropical weather tends to make it 'chunk' together. Once it is pried apart though it dissolves and mixes with water just fine.

Finding Tang in Australia is tricky. Finding Tang in anything other than a small packet is impossible. I am delighted to have this powder available in larger containers. It's my husband's favourite drink in our hot Australian summers.
