Works perfect this is the second time ordering. Quality is great, I’m really hard on my key fobs and these lasted just as long as the originals from the dealer. About 7 years.

Before I go deep on this subject, I want you to know that my Kia Soul 2012 has been wonderful. What I got for the money I paid is more than I got from Mitsubishi and Nissan (I bought 2 XTerras new, not cheap, excellent vehicles too).The reason I bought this key fob case is because the original Kia key fob's button covers wore out. I called Kia and they wanted $250 for a new key. I tried Amazon's $8.- option and it worked.When I took the original key fob apart, I noticed a metallic hinge for the flip key. This metallic hinge system would have outlived the car and me, but the button cover had failed and I needed a new cover.To Kia's credit, the metallic hinge is better quality than the plastic hinge of the $8.- replacement. I am using the spare key fob now, that is new, and I am keeping the replacement as the spare key.If all I can complain about the Kia Soul is the cover of the buttons on their key fob, this car is still the best quality for the money!

Real easy looked a video online on how to do it. saved me 200 buck just to change the buttons since they were worn-out haha amazon for the win

Had to watch a video on replacing the electrical board and battery. It’s so easy as I am electronically challenged. The close and open works great as it# been a few days now. The only thing, when putting it back together the key portion feels a bit loose. It stays in but it’s not as firm as before for me.

Pretty simple to switch the internal parts. All works great so far. I've had them for a few weeks now.
