Ultra Pro | Album Card Collector - Blue | Card Holder

My son specifically wanted a blue ultra pro binder to match his other ones for his hockey card collection - it’s good quality but it was absolutely over priced and the only reason I bought it was I couldn’t find a blue one anywhere else. If it wasn’t a Christmas gift I’d never spend almost $30 on a hockey card binder but he’ll be happy.

I usually dont write reviews here, Bit I had to get my experience with this out here, so that you can learn from my experience.The Album itself is well made and can protect cards from outside influences pretty well.If you actually want to collect your cards longterm, there are big flaws however.The tip jam (hope that is the right term; I‘m talking about the metal part that actually holds the slides) broke from the weigth of the slides. I had bought the package with the official slides for 1000 cards.That could have been my fault, because I put too many slides in one binder, I still want to tell you though.My binder being broken however, I did some research and found out, that binders that rely on a metal part to keep the slides together tend to bend the cards longterm.If you are looking for other binders, I recommend you to look at the video from Tolarian Community on Youtube, because they give an extensive review of different binders for trading cards.
