Strike Hold 16oz

This stuff is incredible. Use gloves and a well ventilated area when spraying it because it does irritate skin quite a bit and also irritated my lungs when I used it indoors. Spray outdoors first. I spray it on my gun, spread it around then let it sit and clear any carbon buildup and fouling. About 5 minutes on the entire slide and barrel should be enough. Then you can just wipe away all grime!!! A few hits with cotton swabs and they should be turning up clean. After using the product, it leaves a slight dry lubricant. I still use a wet lubricant in areas of high friction but the dry lubricant makes future cleaning easier by helping fouling and carbon not "bake" into the steel. This is particularly helpful for the barrel, which in my experience is the most neglected area of cleaning!

MUST HAVE! It’s WD-40 on steroids. I’ve been using it for 20 years. The only con is that the smell is strong. OH, and it penetrates threaded connections so well, it will loosen its own lid over time. Store it vertically. For REAL, you NEED some. Wanna know why? It works on SO many things. No joke. It eats corrosion, and leaves a protective layer. I use it on my Firearms, Boat, RV, tools, electric stuff… it’s truly amazed me, and my go to. Rusty lug nuts to sliding glass door rollers to corroded circuit boards…. If it used to work, and doesn’t now, spray some on & let it work a while. If it doesn’t work, it’s not corrosion. Here’s some remarkable experiences I’ve personally had: Boat (saltwater) had an intermittent issue with electronics. Couldn’t find problem. I finally just sprayed strike hold on all circuit boards, elec connections, etc… The next day, all worked fine and has since. I don’t know where the corrosion was fouling up the connection, nor do I care now. Over the years, I’ve had same results on our RV, washing machine, Christmas lights, rusted lug nuts, ratchet straps, door locks, old tools (elec & mechanical)…

I have several firearms that IU need to clean after each firing and I only use STRKE HOLD for cleaning and lubricating ALL my firearms and feel super confident my equipment will be protected. This stuff is all I now use. When I first used this STRIKE HOLD solution I was not aware of the outcome however, after months of use I see it is the only one I will ever need to clean and protect my expensive guns and I have also used it on some tools I own and just as I suspected, It is the best agent I can buy. A++++

I use this to mainly clean and lubricate my firearms. It soaks into the metal leaving a dry lube behind. Completely dissipates moisture and destroys rust. It also works as just a good cleaner. I had a lawnmower that was really dirty with dirt and grease around the carburetor and air filter. I sprayed this on and the results looked like I had taken a toothbrush to it. It also works as a dielectric protecting electronics from moisture. I will always have a bottle of this around.

This is an all-purpose oil and cleaner. I have used it for my bike chain, freeing stuck cables, door mechanisms, ... the list goes on. I will be using this forever. One thing I found, you should be aware of: I keep a bottle in my RV for when I need it and am away. When going up in altitude, the air pressure differential WILL syphon the oil out, even with the spray nozzle turned off. Thus, I ALWAYS remove the sprayer and put the cap on. Others I know have also had this problem.

The only disadvantage is it has an odor . I recommend this product especially for cleaning electric/battery tools. Have sprayed some old tools and they started working again.

Great cleaner was lead to this product by the recommendation from IraqVeteran8888. Can’t complain it is a good cleaner... Love the dry lubrication that is left, feels smooth and doesn’t get gunked up. 2 warnings: wear nitrile gloves this will irritate your skin, spray and use in well ventilated area..! I like spraying my parts in an old pickle jar or disposable baking tray to allow the parts to soak a bit. Had a highly over used Skeet shotgun that was gunned up good... this cleaned it up and lived it very nicely. Will try it with an ultrasonic cleaner next to see how that works.

completes two task at one time cleans powder residue and also leaves a slick surface when wiped off. my slides and bolts have never worked so smooth since using this product. i thank chad and iraqveteran 8888 for doing a vid on cleaning products; that's who put me on to this great product.
