For jobs that require something strong, that will last for a long time, I am not sure you can beat this.

Great easy fix for leaking AC flexible air hose
Flexible AC air hose in attic was torn, leaking cold air into attic, causing condensation that can stain ceiling. Our contractor -- a friend -- instructed us to get this and tape the tears back up. The adhesive is very responsive. So, don't pull out too much at a time or the tape may stick to itself and end up twisted together. Bear that in mind, it should be an easy operation. In no time, problem solved!
