iRobot Roomba E6 (6199) Robot Vacuum - Wi-Fi Connected, Compatible with Alexa, Ideal for Pet Hair, Carpets, Hard, Self-Charging Robotic Vacuum, Sand Dust (Renewed)

I love my Roomba. This is my second one I bought it refurbished. I think my first one lasted me about 8 years. It’s best use is for underneath my bed. It’s incredible how much dust collects under the bed & it’s hard to get under my bed with a vacuum cleaner so the Roomba does the trick. I usually do have to clean out the little waste bin on the Roomba a few times because it gets so full, but that’s easy! When I had my Cairn Terrier, (not a shedder), I used my Roomba on our tile floors, about every other day & I was always amazed at how much dust & dirt it collected!

So far pretty good. Easy program. Works fast and quiet. Needs periodic maintenance emptying collection container. Removing wrapped up hair from rug sweepers/beater centers and at the ends. Easy to do. Air filter easy in and out. Good suction. Picks up fine dust. Value pretty good. Design pretty good but bought self adhesive bumper cushion pads, protect walls etc from vacuum rubbing against them. Pretty happy with purchase. Did purchase the Amazon extended warranty for the vacuum.

I bought it thinking it was a rose/gold color like in the pic, but it's silver. This is the third Roomba I've owned. This model works okay but I feel that the older models were designed better. This model's bin is smaller and the design makes it harder to empty. The handle is harder to grab and this model doesn't make the traditional beeping sounds that the previous models made. I miss my old Roomba but alas, I will make the best of new relationship with Roombiticus III.

I originally purchased my Roomba e6 in November 2021. It's 10/5/23 and it lasted this long. I will probably get another one. It malfunctioned because it is stuck on error 6, & the steps to fix the error didn't work. According to Google, the average lifespan of a Roomba is up to 2 years. I am very satisfied with my purchase because it did its job well. I'm kind of sad also because I had sort of a 'bond' with my iRobot. I highly recommend as an affordable alternative to a new one.

Does not even come with an instruction manual. The QR code the worthless little insert provides which supposedly directs one to a link to download the manual directs to a page which has been removed from the iRobot website. Will not connect to WIFI. At all. I live in a one bedroom apartment so my WIFI coverage is fine. During the setup process, I'll get an audio alert from the Roomba itself telling me that it's connected and to return to the app to complete setup, but when I do the app tells me it can't connect. I have followed ALL troubleshooting steps to no avail. Customer service is useless. Even without all those issues this robot is just stupid; the telemetry is terrible; there is no logic to the path it takes while cleaning; only does part of the bedroom, goes over the same spot in the living room continuously and needlessly. I can do a better job in far less time it takes this thing to fumble around my apartment like some drunk who is trying to help but is, well, drunk. The only upside is watching the dog and cat try to figure out whether they should attack the Roomba or hide from it. But even that isn't worth the money spent. Tl;dr don't waste your money on this.

I was happy to find it came with the charger dock, and it's an amazing deal for the price. My only two concerns are mine didn't come with a manual so I had to Google it to figure out wifi setup and such; and also some cat hair got wound up around one of the rollers and ripped a strip through the rubber. Thankfully it still works perfectly fine with the one rip, and it lasted a couple weeks without any issues so Im hoping it was a fluke! I love it, and I named him Sebastian and gave him a face :)

Ahorra tiempo, mantiene la limpieza del piso. Muy práctica.

BUENA ASPIRADORA, FACIL DE USAR.

Tiene buena succión pero no trae para mapear o elegir un patrón a seguir de limpieza... Anda por donde ella quiere.. Pero limpia bien.

Llegó en su empaque original, perfecta y totalmente empacado con sus protecciones, piezas nuevas, no le veo lo remanufacturado por ningún lado. Estoy encantada con mi compra, al primer día de uso no imaginaba que sacaría tanta basura del depósito, principalmente pelos de mi gato que a simple vista no se notan sobre el piso (y eso que todos los días trapeo la casa más de dos veces) y otras partículas que ni me había puesto a revisar cuando limpio el piso. Se configura perfecto con la app del celular, muy sencilla de usar y programar. Es algo torpe porque si se mete debajo de una silla, se topa entre las patas y bien puede demorar ahí varios minutos dando vueltas hasta que logra salir, pero de ahí en más, que siga su curso. Es algo ruidosa, pero nada molesto, hasta es bueno estar en otra habitación y poder escuchar por dónde anda. Tenía entendido que cuando se va a descargar la batería, sola regresa a su base, pero no me ha tocado que lo haga, me la he encontrado a media habitación donde anduvo limpiando, ya descargada. Estoy fascinada con mi compra, no es tan maravillosa o inteligente como sus predecesores, pero me da el servicio que necesitaba, a un precio excelente.

Lo compre porque tengo dos niñas y un perro pastor alemán así que necesitaba un asistente de limpieza. El producto me parece que es bueno pero esperaba que fuera mas inteligente ya que se la pasa chocando con todos los objetos e incluso hay algunos que no detecta como adornos pequeños o delgados. El primer día la puse a limpiar durante la noche y fue un error porque no me dejaba dormir ya que podía escuchar operar porque es bastante ruidosa y además cada que chocaba con algo se escuchaba el golpe, así que suspendí la limpieza para poder dormir y mejor la programé para limpiar en la mañana que no estoy en casa. Hace un trabajo muy bueno pero debido a su ruido excesivo y los sensores tan pobres que tiene es por eso que la califico con 3 estrellas, pero la compre en promoción por $3,500 asi que me parece vale la pena pero seguramente mas adelante compraré un modelo mas avanzado esperando que su sistema de navegación sea mas eficiente.
