Q: Would these work for a lap swimmer? (I.e., will they fall off doing flip turns? Lol!)

Well, the medium size are a little loose on me but they worked fine when I was swimming in the ocean with a rather aggressive current. I had to "readjust" a little but they stayed on ok! Really, any two piece is going to slip a little for active water sports unless it's REALLY snug on the bottom.

Q: I wear a size 10. Im not aure whether to purchase the large or medium?

I am size 10-12 depending on brand and these fit snug as a size large. Hope this helps

Q: Does the XL (16-18) fit like a true 16 bottom?

My jeans size is 11/12 or 13/14 depending on brand and style and I thought XL fit me a little better than the L.
