LumbarMax Lumbar Back Support Cushion Pillow for Car Seat. Relieves Back Pain and Keeps Spine Aligned

I bought a cheap used car as a temporary beater. The lumbar support pad is broken, it came right off the adjuster. So there's NO lumbar support at all. This ends up causing lots of back pain, especially on longer drives. I don't really feel it until I get out of the car, at which point I'm about ready to collapse in pain.This support cushion has completely solved that problem. I've taken the car on multiple 9+ hour drives with absolutely zero back pain. It's like a minor miracle.I removed a star because there's no way to hold the cushion in place. It just rests on the bottom of the seat and can move around anywhere, especially since it's sitting on old, dried-up leather seats. This hasn't been much of a problem since it's perfectly situated when it's resting this way, but it takes a bit of adjusting. I have to sit carefully so as not to shift it to either side, and then center it behind me. I wish there was a way to affix it so it wouldn't move around every time I get in the car.

A great pad that fits well and matches the interior decor of my base model Tacoma (that are notorious for no lumbar support and sore lower backs).My back felt better after the first use and hasn't let me down yet. If I had any suggestion it would be to use a fabric on the back with a bit more tooth to hold to the upholstery better. Of course all upholstery will be different, but I think a lightly rubberized or toothy nylon blend would work better on the back side than the stretchy, smooth bike-shorts type material used all the way around- the result is I do have to shift it more than I should. A firmer back panel would help it support and keep its shape too. My 2 cents.

Funny enough it was an older sarcastic single sentence review saying "it's...a pillow" that convinced me to try this product. I had been using a throw pillow I stole off the couch and a pillowthat, bit one that was just the right shape, was all I needed. I'm a six foot tall man, driving a Honda Odyssey. The van seemed to be roomy enough, but I started experiencing more back pain and really noticing how weirdly I had to sit in driver's seat. This provides support right where I need it. I especially like how the cushion extends up the back, it's perfect for the issues with my seat shape I was noticing.

I bought this back support for my husband who drives long distances daily. He does not like any type of pillow or cushion resting behind his back as I do. Fingers crossed as he tried it out and thank goodness he is pleased with this back support. He likes it because it gives alittle while supporting his back and without being bothersome. Now I am ready to purchase one for myself. I know I will find it very useful.

I don't use this in my car because it's too thick but it works great for my recliner. I've had this for about 3.5 years now and absolutely love the much needed support that this provides.

Really offers support for those with slipped discs and back issues of all kinds. It makes car rides that much easier. There is no installation needed. Just set it against the back of the seat and slowly sit down. It will adjust and slide into just the right spot, as needed for you.

This is a great lumbar support. I am petite and have a Toyota Rav4 and the seats do not have much lumbar support. I really like this one because it comes up my back farther that some. It is soft, yet supportive.
