the diameter of this 7.5" across including the locks in place. It is aproximately 3.5" deep. Hope this helps.

Will this fit in the 6 qt instant pot?

If an instant pot is the same as a pressure cooker, then yes, it will fit (or at least it fits into my 6 qt. pressure cooker).

Can I use it in the oven?

Yes. I've made flan using the bain-marie method in a 400 degree oven and this mold did a fine job. I've also used it on top of my gas stove to caramelize the sugar.

Some reviews mention rust. Is this made of stainless steel?

May rust if is not well cleaned and dried after use. It is but not heavy duty stainless steel. I had two Flan Molds for more than a year and are in excellent condition.
