CRKT Tailbone EDC Knife: Everyday Carry Fixed Blade Drop Point Knife with Black Stonewash Finish, Orange Cord Wrapped Handle, Sheath 2415

I purchased this for my husband as a gift, he absolutely loves it, he wears it everyday, and finds random reasons to use it.

I collect knives. Not just any knives. They have to be unique somehow. This one is cool-unique. I have a potful of CRKT knives and this one is becoming an Every Day Carry.

It's not clear from the photos and I don't remember seeing it in the product description. I ordered this knife on a whim, looking for something novel. The handle is pretty clever and unique, so I can't say I'm disappointed - but it's not really what I thought I was getting. The handle is like a bicycle chain, rigid in the vertical dimension but can flex and snake in the horizontal. This actually makes it really comfortable to hold, and allows you to get the knife into some unusual (and inadvisable!) positions. Fit and finish on the knife and paracord wrap were good, and my blade came razor sharp. It's a neat little knife, but I don't think it'll see much use - this knife would definitely cut me sooner or later

This knife is amazing. You won’t understand what I mean until you hold it in your hand and it completely conforms to your hand!!!! You need this!

Maybe I didn't read the description very carefully. So maybe its me. BUT WHO IN HIS RIGHT MIND WOULD WANT A KNIFE WITH A FLIMSY/WOBBLING HANDLE?!!! You want to make a knife that uses a bike chain for handle material? Sure. Go ahead. Just don't bother wrapping it in paracord. The result is a flimsy, unusable handle. So, what did I do? Did I send it back? Did I throw it away? Hell, no! I ripped the bike chain off of the thing, and now have a finger-knife that rocks MUCH harder than the idiotic piece of crap I started with!

I like everything. Skinned a deer no dramas.

Maybe I did not read the description correctly prior to ordering, but the handle is not rigid. It is made of 550 cord and is floppy.
