4in Round Center/Center Performance Muffler 14419 - Straight-Through, 3in Inlet/Outlet Diameter, 14in Body Length, 20in Overall Length, Polished Finish - Classic Deep Sound

I purchased this to replace my stock muffler on my 2012 4.8L Silverado. I had my local shop install it, only took them about 15 minutes. It does drone a bit inside the cab at certain RPMs, but that's because I have the exhaust dumped just before my axle. But it isn't obnoxiously loud. It's more quiet than my '95 Sonoma (2.2L - 4 cylinder) with a gutted interior and straight pipe exhaust, with the same style dump. Can still hold a conversation without yelling over the drone, and can still listen to music, no problem. The idle is nice and low, with a nice rumble, but definitely opens up and screams when getting on it. Definitely sounds like how a v8 should. Glad I chose Magnaflow. (PN - 14419) P.S... I just had it installed today. (May 2022). From what I've read, they will get a little louder and give a deeper tone once fully broken in. I'll do another review to give my thoughts and see if there are any changes to the sound quality. So far, I'm happy with the purchase. 9 months after install: (Feb, 2023) Still very happy with the purchase. The sound is still very crisp and I noticed the tone did get deeper and is more refined. The sound did get a bit louder too, but still not obnoxiously loud. Even with it dumped before my axle, the drone in the cab still isn't that bad. I can still hear my music and can still have a conversation without having to yell over the drone. Also, when cruising between 35-45 the exhaust sound is almost non existent. But when I get on it, it really opens up and screams. I'm very happy that I chose Magnaflow (PN-14419) for my 2012 4.8 Silverado.

Bought on a Monday, arrived on Friday. Great shipping, great product. Put this on a 2011 Ram 1500 and sounds better than my expectations. No highway drone, barely any sound at idle or easy driving but when you step on it opens right up to a nice bark. Only issue I had was the in/out diameters. It was not 3" like described. It was over 3 1/8th of an inch. Over all extremely happy with this. Would buy again.

Got it for my 21 silverado with the 5.3. Sounds great! Not too loud, has a nice rumble to it. I dont have a drone issue, you can definitely hold a conversation in the cab. Drove a few thousand miles already since installed and it's still holding up well. Some people complained about the appearance but who is going to be looking under the vehicle for it? Did not bother me any!

I have a 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 5.7L, i purchased this over other mufflers because of its straight through design and not chambered like most so it wouldnt restrict flow. Sounds great, i get compliments all the time on how nice the truck sounds, its quiet on the highway, no droaning or excessive noise, and when you accelerate hard people notice! Love it and will buy it again for my next truck.

Added this muffler on my 2011 f150 and sounds great added some volume while not being to loud
