This Maybelline New York Eye Studio Color Tattoo Eyeshadow in Dramatic Black is excellent quality and perfect for creating a smoky eye. The color is rich, the texture is smooth and creamy, and it offers great smudge resistance with just the right amount of shimmer. For even better application, I recommend slightly dampening your eyeshadow brush before applying. It has excellent longevity and lasts throughout the day. I highly recommend it!

Excellent, buildable pigment.
Excellent! What a great gel black eyeshadow! The eyeshadow goes on smooth. No need to apply with liquid like water on the brush. It remains and lasts all day. If you'd like to keep it from migrating, I suggest a primer. If you want it to look more matte, I suggest a powder shadow over the lid. This is a great shadow for layering and creating a deep, dark pigment. It's easy to apply. Great value for the price!
