Highly recommended
I’m very pleased with this collar. My dog doesn’t seem to mind having it on even tho it’s a bit bigger than others we’ve had in the past. The settings are very strong tho !! I’d recommend you try it on yourself before picking one for your dog. My dog is a 50lbs strong willed boy with a very high prey drive, the vibration setting is fine for him on 3 and the zap is set to 1 (which I’ve only had to use once). The beep (which is all he needs to come back) is nice and loud. The battery life is excellent (only charge it once a week.... if that). My dog has jumped into the pond on countless occasions and it still works great. The distance is amazing as well ! Great purchase !

Works great for my reactive boxer/pitbull mix
I've been continually training my very smart, very headstrong boxer/pitbull since I got her at 5 months old. She's now 4.Getting this collar has been the third step in figuring out the best way to train her to not be SO EXCITED and whiney and loud when she would see another dog if we were walking or riding in the car. She's not aggressive; she just wants to play with every dog she sees!I have clients that come by the house and she would jump on their cars if they didn't get out fast enough and she would jump on them. All in being excited to say hello!!I worked with a trainer who only believed in using a flat collar. I spent 2 months with this trainer and a lot of frustration. When we walked she pull so hard it sounded like she was choking herself out. I tried a harness, an over the nose lead, and a choker collar. None of those worked for my headstrong dog.I got a different trainer and took her online course. She had a different perspective on training based on the dogs personality. Different equipment for different dog mentalities. I ended up getting a prong collar. This stopped her pulling and sounding like she was choking out. It is a humane collar. When used correctly I didn't have to give her any strong corrections. But I couldn't get her to stop acting like a lunatic when she saw other dogs or when people come by the house.Next up is the Pet Spy receiver collar. She knows the beeping sound 'cause we have an invisible fence and she stays in its perimeter. This was a godsend and I wished I had gotten it sooner. I only have to use the beep with her. If she sees another dog when we're driving all I have to say is "Leave it". She doesn't jump all over the seat, bark or whine hysterically. She looks and sometimes barely whimpers. When we're walking and she gets a bead on another dog heading our way I'll use the beep and that's enough to get her to stop fixating on the other dog.I did use the vibration a little in the beginning of training her with this collar. Now she knows when she has this collar on she's on her best behavior. The next thing to work on is not to have her wear it at all and still behave.Good Dog!

Poor Customer Service
After only a few charges the charging port on the controller broke. Contacted both Big Brother and Petspy and requested a new battery pack or complete controller. The solder connection for the port is about the size of a pin head. This unit was only 6 months old and used maybe 6 times. Now, almost 4 weeks after writing to both the seller and manufacture I have not received a reply from either. Poor customer service to say the least. I will have to spend another $40 to buy controller to use the unit!

A Sanity Saver!!!
This collar has been one of the best decisions we made for our 7 month old Doberman! He's a lot of dog at almost 75 pounds, and it was getting harder and harder to get him to listen to us. Then, the collar arrived! Though a little complicated to get it set up, once we figured it out, it worked perfectly! You need to make sure that it is on tight enough (not too tight), and take time to read all instructions and practice with it. We don't always use the shock button, as even the vibrate gets his attention. He has even learned to recognize what the remote can do, and the mere sight of it, gets his full attention. You do need to make sure that you are consistent with your commands and that you use the same approach in training, even when the collar is off. I would not recommend keeping it on at all times, as that is too much, plus I really feel the dog should be learning from patience and love, rather than fear.I have 2 horses, and he would bark and terrorize them when we would take him outdoors. It was awful, and he would almost pull my arm out of it's socket on the leash! Then, the horses would freak out, and just create a huge dangerous scene altogether. But, I can now walk him even close up to the horses, tell him to "leave it"...and he does!!! He was also picking up horse manure and other objects, and we would have to struggle to get them out of his mouth, but no longer! Finally, I work from home and it was getting impossible to talk on the phone to clients if he was in his crate. Though we try to leave him out of it as much as possible, sometimes I can't have him out. He would howl, and cry, and bark louder than I ever thought a dog could. It was like listening to someone taking their fingernails down a chalkboard continuously!! I even contemplated finding a new home for him because I thought I would end up losing my job...as well as my mind!! But, now he knows that "No" means "No" and to cease the bad behavior! Before the collar, we would say "No", and he would just howl louder!! It was unbearable! If we weren't home and left him in the crate, he would start crying bloody murder once he heard us come up the driveway. We'd enter the house, and all hell would break loose with his howling and us trying to figure out how to settle him. Not anymore! He is such a sweet dog, and definitely has some separation anxiety, but this collar has helped all of us have a much happier home. I truly believe it saved my sanity, and even kept me from re-homing him. What a great product!

Cool product sold by a company with Excellent customer service!
It's easy to use, easy to charge but the battery doesn't last as long as I'd like, the collar has auto shutoff I think to conserve battery, so it may not be on when you expect it to be. This may not be one of those $150 professional devices but it does the job. Decent range.
