This is a poplar bowl I made in the traditional Swedish design. I start by splitting a log in half and hollowing the inside out with a tool called an "adze". After that I refine the shape with an axe, gouges and knife. It is very smooth and all tool marks are left visible, I do not use electric or power tools of any kind. 15 1/2" long 7 1/4" wide 4" tall (at handle)
