Egmont USA Nobody

Claire is a nobody and a nobody is a term for people who don't get noticed, don't get loved or cared about, don't get remembered. Nix is a nobody who was trained to kill by The Society. Now The Society puts a target on Claire's head and send Nix after her, telling him she's a Null. A Null being a person who gets everything they want, don't care about anyone or anything, and are dangerous to the world. When Nix realizes that Claire is a nobody like him, he questions The Society and everything he's known to be true.Although this book is pretty small, it took me around a week or so to finish it. I kept getting bored or didn't have an urge to read it. And the storyline was pretty guessable after the first chapter.With that in mind, I do think this book is very unique. No author has tried out this idea before and am happy to have read something new. I did like the characters and the overall theme.I must also add, I love Jennifer Lynn Barnes technique for writing but this book was pretty sub par compared to her other works.

The story is a bit over the top and becomes predictable almost immediately. Teens are enjoying it, but, as an adult reader, I found it trite and a bit too sappy! If you are a teen, you might get a kick out of it--good fantasy read.

Couldn't put the book down. Enough twists to keep it interesting.
