Blank/Plain Heavy Metal Stainless Steel Mirror Chrome License Plate

I was pleased to find these for sale. I used them to provide support (I mounted them behind) for my regular NYS license plate that I mounted on the front of the vehicle using brackets that otherwise didn't provide a lot of support. Do be careful handling the plates as they tend to have a sharp edge.

Our front license plate used to get severely bent in the automated car wash but using this as a backing plate prevents that problem. Simply install this under the front license plate and secure the front plate with 4 screws. Still going strong after about 20 car washes. Great product!

I had to get out the Dremel to make this work with a California license plate, which presumably has the holes in standard locations.

The Stainless steel plate was as expected. I did have a small problem removing the film covering but with a little hot water was able to get it off. Few minor scratches but was able to buff them out. Worked perfect for the application I purchased it for

As with another purchaser, I bought this to re-enforce my plate for car washes. This is perfect for my need (very sturdy)
