Frienda Faraday Key Fob Protector, Carbon Fiber Car Keys Protector Black

TWO YEAR REVIEW. I bought this in 2023 soon after I got my new car and while it took a while to adapt to its size (definitely a tight fit for your front pants pocket) I’m satisfied with it. The photos don’t show it clearly, but the inside of the case is beginning to color with age, But the build quality is fine. The zipper still secures, the carabiner clip still securely holds my keys, and the case shows no signs of fraying or tearing. The RFID blocking works. My car has a touch-free tailgate that works if you’re holding the key fob. I was, but it was zippered into the case and as a result I couldn’t open the tailgate. But unzip and remove it from the case and I can open the tailgate. I also tried to start my car with the key fob zippered in the case. Doesn’t start. So that tells me the RFID blocking works. I’ve received many compliments on the carbon fiber look of the case. It’s great. I recommend this for larger key fobs, or if yours is a bit smaller than mine, you can fit some keys into the case at the same time.

These works very well. When I put these in my pocket (case unzipped or zipped), it will block the signal. They’re not too big and i think of it as small wallet in my pocket. I have tested it with them hanging on my key holders I’m the house and the signal is blocked.

This thing is not good at all, It may look nice but it just doesn’t do its job, It works for a while or sometimes but other times is like it doesn’t exist even with the box and zipper fully closed the Fob key signal still goes through. I could had returned both cases I bought but I need a case like this one so what I did was removed the metal box from the leather pouch, I bought a Faraday RFID Signal blocker adhesive tape, Wrapped the metal cases with it and then glued the boxes back to the leather case, Problem solved and it works perfectly now and blocks the FOB RFID signal completely. Is a shame I had to do all this when this item was supposed to do all that without having to do this and spend money on the tape.

Its really good at blocking the car key signal but, it's not convenient because we have to open it the bag in order to open the car door or closed the car. The material is good, hard case but a bit big size.

I have a two fobs for my car's keyless entry and when traveling with the spare in my suitcase, the car sensed it and would not lock. This device successfully shielded the 2nd fob and allows me to keep it as a spare in my suitcase. It appears to be strong and well constructed. It's large enough for a key fob, not large enough for a cell phone. It's a little bulky but not excessively so. It weighs almost nothing. It easily fits in a suitcase pocket (or, for the ladies, in a purse).

Looks good but does not block signals. Maybe reducing power/range of signal but does block it. With Key in pocket, I can unlock/start car

Sadly we need to take every precautions we can so that our belongings are safe to include our cars. Car thieves now have a machine that can copy the car fobs without you knowing it. These cases stop that from happening. I know these work because I forget to open it up to get in my car. The door will not open if it is inside the case. And that is what it is supposed to do. I know if thieves want in, they will find away but these make it harder to get in.

Definitely a hard case, just what was needed. Randomly pushing buttons or finding the back hatch open because the keyfob was in a pocket was getting annoying. This protects it, nice easy going zipper and worth the price.

Esta cajita llavero no sirve para proteger la llave de tu coche. Lo probé a distancia y es como si no lo llevaras. No lo recomiendo.

This is the second one I bought. The first one was too large to easily fit in pockets. This one is much better and I use it all the time.

Lmao I bought it and then read the reviews and thought damn it I just wasted my money. Well I’m not sure what kind of drugs those people were on but it works 100% of the time. I tried it over and over and over and over and it worked. Thank you for providing a good product 🤙🏻
