02457 CAT Mini Excavator Vehicle Toys for unisex-children

Superior product, super well made. This toy was made to play and last !

I bought this as a funny gift for my husband. He built a pondless waterfall in our backyard and for one stage of the construction he needed to rent an excavator. After that part was done I was thinking about how I wouldn’t mind the lack of finished landscaping so much if it kind of looked like we were still working on it. Which gave me the idea to get a toy excavator for a fun little prop. Well, this toy is very well-made, I am still surprised that it is plastic. Since you can move the bucket in various ways, I occasionally move it and load a rock into it or maybe some dirt. He gets out kick out of seeing the excavator “in use” (he never sees me move it, just stumbles upon it in different places and activities on occasion) because it is plastic, it is not rusting or anything. The door opens too, so sometimes I’d like to let him think that the little worker has gone home for the day.

My 3 year old son got this for his birthday from me and his dad! He loves it! Worth the price we paid! 1:16 size to match other trucks. Tracks move smoothly. The bucket comes off as well.

This is a beautiful toy, but I would NOT recommend it for a kid that wants to do any sort of rugged play with it. We got it for our two and a half year old as a reward for getting out of diapers. The side mirror had a little plastic tie around it, and literally fell off when we took it out of the packaging, remaining attached to the toy only with the plastic tie. The bucket fell off within an hour of playing with it. We were able to reattach it, but i don't have hopes for how long the toy will last, sadly. All in all, I would recommend it for an older kid, but not for a young kid or for a kid that wants to do any real dirt work.

nice big well made toy

Nice so detailed

A lot of the toys you buy now are plastic and snap easily. So far, we have loved the excavator and it’s holding up well with my rough toddler boys. Do keep in mind the side mirror pops off and on. If you have little ones who put things in their mouth, I’d pop it off and keep it off

The details are solid the toy is great and my son loves it. Bruder again makes a good toy that's huge hit for a five year old boy.
