L'Oreal Paris Visible Lift Serum Absolute Foundation, Creamy Natural, 1 Ounce

Very bad color, not even a litter color add on the skin :(

This is one of the loveliest, most natural, least-greasy full coverage foundations I've ever tried. I was relieved to find that I could colormatch easily to my other l'oreal products and select the right shade, even ordering online. I figured that would be a risk but it worked out. Previously my favorite foundation was Clarins Everlasting Foundation but it has a disheartening tendency to settle into lines, especially in the winter. Visible Lift has this beautiful luminous finish that you really just don't see with full coverage foundation. I don't know how they did it but it is silky, densely pigmented, non-drying, and wears well. If it weren't for the fact that I know I'll have trouble with the pump leaving product in the bottle (after reading all the other reviews) this would be my holy grail foundation. If they made a bronzer with this same formula I would buy it in a heartbeat. One thing to note is that when you set it with powder you lose the luminosity of the finish completely. Oh well. Maybe a setting spray will work. UPDATE: One thing this foundation absolutely lacks is staying power. I've been using it constantly for the past few weeks and I find that it lasts 5 or 6 hours. When I go to take my make up off in the evening there is almost nothing left to come off onto the wipe! Not ideal. In places where I need proper coverage I've been layering another foundation on top of this one. I imagine that what might be needed is powder AND a setting spray. But then you might get problems with the foundation settling into creases. Overall, this foundation has my recommendation if you want to look pretty to go out for dinner or if you use foundation primarily as an enhancement rather than for coverage. re: anti-aging benefits - I have not as yet seen any differences in my skin from using this foundation, positive or negative. One plus is that it certainly isn't drying. If you found this review helpful, please take a moment to vote :).

I am 52, & though I don’t have a lot of wrinkles, tiny ones do show up around my eyes. I have tried so many, many foundations. Even expensive brands recommend in a cosmetic store, & I ordered one that is highly advertised. I’ve always come back to this brand. The coverage is just the best, & it washed off easily with my facial cleanser.
