I work on old lawn tractors and some parts are no longer made so you must make it work with little tips you learned over years. Now why I needed the stainless steel feeler gauges. I will use these to take up slack in a 40 year old Idler arm where its worn down inside. Simple fix to make it tight again and usable again since the part cant be found anywhere now. For a small price of these high quality, extra long stainless steel feeler guages I will fix a 150 dollar part worn out that was not replacable any longer. Works outstandingly

The blades are marked in metric only. I had to measure each one and write on them with a Sharpe the ones I needed. They seem OK so far.

Nice set night them to help level my 3d printer build plate to make it more precise and they've been great so far I get it to the point I can see faint lines from the nozzle on the metal and the line marks wipe off like new nice and long for the back corners as well

These are best used for shims, not measuring. They are marked only in metric, and the sizes are only metric, despite giving imperial sizes in the chart. Not particularly accurate sizes either.

These are good quality gauges, these are pretty long but about a rulers size length, so if you want something shorter there are other options but this one is good for many applications long or short and great for 3d printers, and personally I hand picked the feeler gauge sizes I use the most and unscrewed the clamp and screw that hold them together slid the sizes I used more and put it back together and stored the rest til I need them, great product, good quality, and price

I tested the .005 and under feelers with a mechanical micrometer and found them quite accurate, certainly good enough for engine work. The .0008 feeler had a crease near the tip making it useless, so I have returned them and will reorder. I would have given them 5 stars if not for that. I considered cutting off the creased tip and keeping them but couldn't think of a way to do that cleanly. Better luck next time.
