Not an "anchovy expert", but I sure like 'em and these are fine
Reasonable price, good taste, this is my third order of them in bulk. Use in salads, or just on some sourdough bread, great snack, as long as you're ok with the high sodium content, but that's true of all canned anchovies I've ever come across.

Mushy Mess
The first time I bought these, they were perfect. They were nice, separate fillets in the can. I would have given them five starts. The second time I bought these will be my last from this supplier/amazon. The anchovies I received the second time had not stored properly so they had turned into a mushy, oily mess. The fillets had turned into one, big, mushy blob. Very unappetizing. If you get a can of mushy blob, know that it hasn't been stored properly and bacteria in the can has turned the fillets into mush.

Consistent quality
Go to staple for traditional Caesar Salad or a good way to jazz up a pizza. Can has about 12 fillets.Aquired taste but worth stocking in your pantry

very good anchovies, not the most convenient package
While these anchovies are good, as good as any except fresh, they lose a star because once opened, the can can't be reclosed, so you need another receptacle for the unused anchovies. But, if you have a small jar (I use a mustard jar), you're in luck, because then you can put the leftover anchovies in the jar with some truffle scented olive oil, and later they will add wonderful flavor to your salads.

Anchovies--good for just about every sauce
I love these anchovies, whether simply in a bruschetta or in any sauce that involves fish--or even a simple puttanesca. They add flavor and umami to virtually everything. I think Cento, which I've using for 20 years, is among the best . Having said that, I think $2.60 per tin at Amazon is expensive. They sell for $1.90 a tin at other supermarkets.
