Perfect for wet hikes
These were a life saver in Hawaii. Regardless if we were hiking through mud, sand, rocks, or water I was able to keep my footing without slipping. The velcro is really strong & sturdy. The soles are a bit heavier than I expected but probably needed for the comfort & durability.

Not as much foot support as the more expensive Teva hiking sandal; okay for short walks on sidewalks

Great sandal
Teva sandals are consistently good...these replace a similiar pair I bought in 1999, which have only just failed after all those years of wear, including walking in India, Kenya and through the Samaria Gorge in Crete. These were cheaper than the price I paid in 1999!
