Thank you for this. I assumed the same when I read this as I bought something similar before and it was not as pure copper as it indicated either. Copper plating on the surface only is not 99.9% copper.

You should have rec'd a few extra I bought another bracelet so I could add links so I could wear a 'bracelet' to wear on my ankle 🙃 it worked!!

Probably considering the coating stained my wrist. By at your risk! Company never responded to my complaint. Thankfully returned it in time. Really sad cause looked great. Good luck.
