So far so good
Just got the meter today. Didn’t have high hopes for it. Brand new I went to calibrate it to 7&10 and there was no need to they were dead on. Also checked my $7 hand held Amazon ph meter and it was off by a few 0.1’s. Hopefully it stays accurate and the only con I have is I wish it had an AC plug so I can keep the light on at all times. Just easier to see without walking up to it.

Works great.
I’m using this in a hydroponic setup. It works great. One difficult thing is measuring out the calibration solutions. I have access to a lab, with scales and distilled water, but I don’t know how others would do this easily. The unit performs very well. Initial calibration is important to get accurate pH readings. But once you set it up, you don’t need to recalibrate often. The only time I needed to recalibrate was when I forgot to store the probe in the solution. Important: you never want to store the pH probe dry. It will become Un-calibrated and lose proper function if done repeatedly. Overall, it’s a really nice pH probe at a reasonable cost.

The box is great. The probe is so so.
I gave this probe four stars but it has five star potential. The probe that comes with it is the Achilles heel. It's accuracy varies by .1 and requires weekly calibration. By replacing the probe with one slightly better, the meter is now functioning perfectly and within 02 of my $1,000 Oakton meter. I'll provide a link right here. https://a.co/d/hmISlVH. If you don't see it. It means that Amazon removed it. If that's the case, search for a probe that costs around $17 on Amazon. It is black with a long cord. That is the one I purchased that is working very well. Had the company bundled the receiver with a probe of just slightly better quality, this would be a 6 star product based on value.

GREAT OUT THE BOX!
just got this for DWC cloner. Out the box was calibrated to 10.15 when dropped in 10.01 buffer solution. So, pretty accurate right out the box. i did calibrate to 10.01 as per instructions, auto calibrated to 4.01 as the stick was placed in the next buffer solution. I am happy about batteries as I can put this where. I'm not sure if i would be happier if there was a dedicated power supply option. we shall see how well this holds up and how long it holds up for. Right now, I have it and will leave it in the cloner and monitor it a few times a day.

Super inaccurate
This monitor worked great for about a week and I was so excited that I could closely monitor the tank I'm cycling. It's now giving me pH readings that are a full 1.5 off when I put it in exactly the same water (I let it sit for about 5 minutes to make sure it's reading the overall water). Initially, I checked it against my API test kit and pH readings were spot on. Now, it's off by at least a point and sometimes more. I've checked on multiple water sources. I thought maybe I was doing something wrong but then read all the other reviews about its inaccuracy so I'm not the only one who initially had a great product and now it's all over the place. Do not buy this

A work horse. Lasts forever with abuse.
Love this meter. Had another that lasted 5 years of abuse. Reasonably priced and is a work horse.

Only lasts 1 year
Product lasted 1 year and then stopped reading the PH accurately. Will not calibrate either. So only has a 1 year life expectancy.

Does what it needs to do with proper maintenance
I have had nothing but success with this PH meter. The cheap yellow ones consistently die in half the lifespan of this mounted one. I am so stoked to be able to just glance at it and. Get what I need. I hope this company makes another with tds/edc on it, too! 100% would buy! ;) Word to the wise--clean it in purified or distilled water every couple weeks (submerge probe and swish it around). Save the tiny water bottle the probe comes in as well. Whenever you flush and refill your tank, wash the probe then use some fresh, pure water to fill the probe cover bottle 2/3rds full. Then wet the grommet of the probe cover ca0, slide the cap up the probe, submerge the probe in the water-filled bottle all the way, screw on the bottle to the cap. No pH meter likes air. This system completely removes that variable do I find the 3 cent cover it comes with to be a really good added benefit. Adding to this that it has died after about 2 years of constant use. Attempting to get a replacement pH probe.
