I bought this for my 6 year old daughter who is afraid of the dark. This lights up her room in just the right amount and has a timer so I can set the light to turn off in 10, 30 or 60 minutes; this is my favorite part! My daughter loves the fact that it can change colors or rotate through colors on its own. We also use this as a timer for screen time, it's a quiet alternative to using my phones timer and she seems to respond better to the light turning off then a loud alarm going off right next to her. The battery lasts forever as well, we have only needed to recharge it once a week (with daily use) since buying. Great purchase!

Would repurchase. Still going strong after one year. Baby bites the rubber top when he gets access to it and it hasn't shown any sign of wear or damage. Red light is especially nice to see what you're doing at night without really waking yourself up too much.Year two update: heavily beloved and abused by toddler (thrown, bitten, dropped) but still no sign of cosmetic or other damage. He likes to rip the silicone top off but it goes back on very easily. It seems like it doesn't hold a charge for quite as long as it used to but still really pleased with the durability and longevity.

The boy (9 years old) I got this for adores it. He likes the different colors it can produce, as well as the fact that he can shape the top to be a globe, a mushroom, or whatever. The fact that he can unplug it and carry it around is wonderful. We have impressed upon him that for sleeping, he should have it on the red light, or have the light turn off after a few minutes, and he has gotten quite good at setting it to do either the color or the timer (or both). When his friends came over to play, they wanted one, too.

Bought this as a night light for my son's room and we love it. It's easy to use (although the instructions only come in Chinese, plenty of the reviews on Amazon already explain how to change the color and set the timer) and some colors are brighter than others, which is nice if you want a light to read by and to use it as a night light. My son loves playing with it. One thing to note - it only comes with a USB charger, so if you want to plug it into a wall you'll need to buy an additional adapter.

I bought this for my son's nursery. It puts off the perfect amount of light so I can see what I'm doing in the middle of the night, but not too much to disturb his sleep. My three year old niece loved it, and is a little afraid of the dark, so I bought her one for Christmas. Her and my nephew were playing with it all Christmas day, as opposed to all the toys they got! He liked it so much, I ended up ordering one for him! He stayed the night at my parents' house and ended up bringing it with him. So I'd give this 6 stars if I could!!

I bought one for each of my two kids. They LOVE these and I do too. They enjoy changing the light color and shape, and t actually helps them wind down for the night. The auto-shutoff feature is great, but in case it's accidentally left on, I love that I never have to change the battery because it charges with a standard micro USB cord (I keep a cord next to the bed anyway). They look nice and modern during the day. Have had them more than 6 months and very durable.

I love this but I wish the seller would recommend a USB to plug accessory so I know I'll buy the correct one. Thanks. Otherwise, I'd have given 5 stars.

Bought this for my newborns nursury and its perfect. Not to bright and not to dim. Some colors are brighter than others but its due to the color spectrum, not due to a product issue. Highly recommend this light.
