Rouge Candles White Unscented Tealight Candle (Pack of 100)

This wax combination is very soft. All the box says is "vegetable" wax, so not sure what plant the wax comes from. Quite a bit left in the cup up the sides near the bottom when the wick goes out. Messes up the salt lamps a lot and the wax seems to atomize or crawl out of the cup and coat the inside of the lamp and keep the cup sticking and hard to remove. As tea lights in an open saucer, probably not too bad. But not good in a confined holder, at least not the salt lamp. I have had tea lights before made of specifically soy wax, those worked well and didn't make the mess these are making, but don't know if that was coincidence or if this wax is a mix of more than one kind of plant.

11/23. I need to revise my initial review. Subsequent use of these tealights has been very satisfactory. My initial experience with poor burning of the tea lights resolved. I have to question that once the plastic wrap was opened and the lights exposed to air, the issue with the partial burning of the wax resolved the issue? Unfortunately, despite several messages to the seller regarding my initial concerns, no one got back to me. Perhaps they are familiar with this "phenomena" and this is why they chose to ignore my questions and concerns? In any case, I think this was pretty crappy customer service. At the end of the day, I am happy with the product and if this good experience continues, I will buy this product again.Too much wax left behind when the wick is done. Waste of wax and money.

I am very happy with these candles. I use them in my Japanese cast iron teapot warmer which keeps the tea in my Japanese cast iron teapot heated. I don't like cool or cold tea. I also use then in a DIY clay pot heater (can find on YouTube). I used to use pariffan wax candles but after a few hours, four of them burning at the same time, the smell would bother me. So far, these don't have any smell, not even a melting wax smell, that I have noticed.Some candles will not relight once they have been blown out, even when it appears there is plenty of wax and wick left. These do relight as long as there is still wick left to burn.Satisfied and will be buying again!

Very happy with these candles! The box they come in is very nice and pretty looking, and it's also a good practical way to store them.When you open the box, the candles are neatly wrapped in a protective plastic wrap that fits perfectly in the box, so they don't get knocked around and damaged at all.The candles themselves burn very nicely, a very clean flame, no smoke at all! The wax melts very slowly. I haven't yet tried them for the full four hours, but I had them burning for a half hour and it looks like they didn't lose any wax at all, so I'm pretty sure they will last quite a few hours!

Even though they are shrink-wrapped, there is 'wax dust' all around the candle. Each one has to be wiped or cleaned before putting it in a candle holder. The wick burns out too quickly and you have left over wax. Better to let it burn all in one session than to try and relight.

I really like these candles. I was buying soy candles, but they are so expensive. These are vegetable based and burn clean. They are not the longest burning candles, but keep in mind they are tea lights. I burn a LOT of candles and these work great for my purpose. I will definitely buy again.

I love these candles! I go through tealight candles quickly and prefer paraffin-free versions, but paraffin-free candles are often too pricey. These are very much reasonably priced. In addition, there were no problems with shipping and shipping was timely. I will definitely be ordering these again!
