Seller: what is the dye used to color the blue silk?

They responded and said they dye all their tussah silk tops themselves using OEKO-TEX/GOTS/GRS certified dyes (harmful substance free), but the specific blue color for "dream" is one they created themselves. Can this be used in melt and pour soap?

No ma'am. Tussah silk is used in cold process soap. The silk is dissolved in the lye solution. Since this step was already done for you at the factory, you'll have no way to be able to dissolve the silk in Melt & Pour soap .

is this tussah silk cruelty free? I purchased several from your brand and it stated cruelty free on the label but that is not available anymore.
