Perfect, cheap way to rejuvenate older bike helmets
Worked perfectly to replace dry-rotting pads in my Giro helmet. Also worked to provide more padding and better fit on my daughter's Bell helmet.

Affordable Helmet Refresh Kit That Gets the Job Done
Affordable Helmet Refresh Kit That Gets the Job Done I bought this MTGHYARE helmet padding kit to give new life to an older bike helmet that had lost most of its comfort. For under six dollars, it’s a simple, functional fix that works better than expected for casual cycling or commuting use. The set includes several foam pads and plenty of adhesive hook-and-loop circles. Installation was easy enough—cleaning the old surface first helps the Velcro stick better. The foam itself is lightweight, breathable, and decently soft, making a clear comfort difference right away. My helmet fit more snugly, and sweat absorption improved on longer rides. That said, the pads are thinner than some OEM liners, so they don’t offer a luxurious cushion feel. Riders who sweat heavily or bike in high humidity might also find the adhesive backing needs reinforcement over time (a dab of extra Velcro or glue solves this). But for the price, it’s hard to complain. The pieces are easy to trim and reposition, and the kit comes with enough extras for multiple helmets or future replacements. Bottom line: A budget-friendly, practical way to extend the life and comfort of your helmet. Don’t expect premium thickness, but do expect solid value and a noticeable comfort upgrade for minimal effort.

Good replacement pads
These pad work pretty well in my old Trek (probably made by Bell) helmet. Instead of one main top pad with 4 legs on in, you get four individual pieces. The sides and forehead pads about the same (a hint the forehead pad has the two little arms and faces towards the top). My helmet already had the attaching hook pieces (kind of like Velcro hook and loop) in place, but I replaced some with the ones in the kit. Easy to do (and taking a picture of the old pads would have been a good idea before I removed all of them). Something else I found that made it easier was to attach the hook piece to the new pad first (but don't touch the adhesive), align it, and then press the pad with the hook piece already on it to the Styrofoam inner shell. Good value, especially in the two pack. New life to an old helmet.

Nice helmet pads
I used these to replace the pads inside of a Giro Fixture MIPS helmet. This is a very economical way to get more life out of the helmet than having to buy a new one when it starts to get gross. Included are velcro stickers to add additional holding power where needed and to add pads for more support. I noticed that the original stickers were missing over time and extras were a welcome addition. The pads themselves are good quality too. One side for absorbing sweat and the other side for velcro attachment. My helmet also fits better than before. I consider this to be a nice upgrade. Get the multi pack for more economy.

Great way to fix older Bicycle Helments
Adhesive didn't work with my bike helmet liner. Used a commercial glue to fix. A well made item, just use another cement.

Great product
This is a great product. I've owned my helmet for ten years. It's a nice Giro that cost me $55. It's comfortable and I just couldn't see the need to purchase a new helmet and looked for an alternative to save it and make it more comfortable. For basically $5 you have a new helmet and maybe even better than new. I ordered two sets of pads and used some out of both sets and placed them exactly where the original pads were. I thought about adding more padding in places but after trying it on I think it's good like it is and just doesn't need more. I did add a pad to the back strap where you adjust the tightness of the helmet. It didn't have one there and it certainly made it feel better. I also didn't add any more because with that addition I could see the helmet getting to warm on hotter days. I hope that the Velcro last. I used the existing Velcro and added more where it needed them. On the front were your forehead is it's all new Velcro that's holding the pads down where before it had hooks. If there's any place that they might fall off it could be there but I'm honestly not that concerned. It certainly feels like it's new especially compared to the 10 year old worn out pads that were pretty much serving no purpose. Major cheap upgrade to an old helmet and believe me I really wanted to buy a new one because I got a new bike. I'm looking to now add some reflective stickers the helmet to again add some excitement without adding to much cost. Highly recommend these if your looking to upgrade your helmet and just don't want to spend the extra money especially if there's nothing wrong your currently helmet. It will be like new or better than new. Happy cycling!

After some years in storage I decided to dig ot my bike helmet only to discover its original liner pads had disintegrated to dust. This kit did an excellent job at replacing them and I was even able to use the original velcro securing pads as well as those supplied to refit the helmet for a fraction of the price of buying a new helmet.
