The Joyous Havanese Paperback – January 1, 2005

If you have a Havanese you must have this book. I have many books on this breed since I am an owner of a Havenese. This book is a MUST HAVE if you are a Havanese owner either as a pet or a professional breeder.GET THIS BOOK!

I am looking into breeding havanese just a couple of times and Deb the lady I am getting my beautiful female from suggested this book. I am learning so much about these beautiful dogs and how they can bring a lot of joy and happiness to any family that is looking for a non-shedding loving dog. I have a male havanese that I bought a couple of years ago that is fixed but he has such a personality and so friendly with everyone. I have had so many people ask for our phone number so they can see about getting one. I can't say enough about this book on teaching how to breed and what to expect when breeding.

Our breeder recommended this book as we await the arrival of our new Havanese puppy. Both my husband and I read it, and found it very informative, especially the descriptions of the stages the puppy goes through from birth. It's filled with wonderful photographs.

A very well written book. There are many first person observations which I found to be extremely informative. It is always appreciated when one reads another persons timely remarks. I found this book to be one of the best that I have read as it refleted everything that our new Havanese Puppy has been putting us through. This book was recommended by our Breeder and I would strongly recommend it to anyone else buying a Havenese.

This author provides great background on the Havanese breed. However, I was looking for a book that would not only give me background but how to train my new Havanese puppy. Definitely, not a training book. Now if you are thinking of breeding, this is the one for you.

good read

I've read the book "The Joyous Havanese" at least 2 or 3 times. This breed looks like the one for me and the more I can learn the better. Anyone looking into Havanese dogs or who just loves dogs should read this book. You will enjoy it!

A book to highly recommend to those interested in Havanese.One of the best books about the breed.Very informative.

The book is good, however had I known it was an old library book sold at that price I would have never bought it . I honestly feel ripped off , it still had all th lubrary labels , so someone definitely made easy money with me . Not very happy about the purchase, old book high priced
