Bathroom mvp.
I never thought I’d be so excited about a toilet brush, but the OXO Good Grips Compact Toilet Brush & Canister has changed the game! This little powerhouse is sleek, stylish, and ready to tackle the dirtiest jobs with grace. The canister pops open and closed like a secret agent’s gadget, making it super hygienic and convenient. The brush itself has sturdy bristles that make scrubbing a breeze, and the handle is so comfortable I almost forget I’m cleaning the toilet.Even my cat, who usually avoids the bathroom, seems intrigued by this new addition. She’s given it a few curious sniffs and seems to approve of its sleek design. If you want a toilet brush that’s both effective and looks great in your bathroom, this is the one for you. Who knew cleaning the toilet could be this much fun?

Another great OXO Product
Can't go wrong with oxo products. This is a simple but perfectly made toilet brush scrubber. It's white so it matches everything in the bathroom. It's got a little flat when you pull the scrubber out and when you put it back in it automatically closes that little latch or that door. The actual brush itself does a great job of cleaning the toilet.

High quality and very well designed
I surveyed numerous toilet brushes available locally and on Amazon and decided on this one. Most of the ones I physically saw were cheaper and that was obvious in the flimsy handles and bases. Cleaning a toilet is unpleasant enough without having to deal with a cheap flimsy brush. I've been able to count on OXO to at least TRY to design a product which works well. They don't always score 100% but their products are almost always near the top. They put more emphasis on their products being functional than being cheap, and should be applauded for that. What I like about this product: The handle is heavy solid plastic which seems to be strong enough to take a reasonable amount of pressure without flexing or threatening to break. The top of the handle is smooth and feels good in the hand (it's the only part that you need to touch). The brush has bristles which are quite stiff, but with the right amount of flex. The brush head is replaceable (replacements available here on Amazon). The base works effortlessly — pull the brush straight up and the base flips open and stays open. When the brush is replaced the base closes smoothly. The brush sits in a platform within the base so that any drips are collected in the bottom of the base and evaporate easily. The base has four shallow bumps which serve as feet. At first I thought I'd add rubber feet, but then realized that the plastic bumps allow the base to slide easily so if you want to keep it against the wall or in a corner it is easy to slide around by the handle while it's in the base. At this point I can't see any improvements needed.A couple of recommendations I gathered from reading other reviews before I made the purchase: The brush does unscrew from the handle for replacement, but it is screwed on very tight — unscrew the brush when you first get it (while it's still clean) so you can see how it unscrews, then screw it back on but not quite as tightly. There were many complaints about the label being hard to remove — I think OXO must have listened to the complaints because the label I received is the easily peeled off plastic type which left no residue. It's always best to peel off any label very slowly to avoid tearing and to give the adhesive time to release, though I see no problem with this label and there's no need for Goo-Gone.In reading through some reviews and questions for other toilet brushes, I ran across a question someone asked that I thought was funny... though it made me gag a little: The question was — to clean the toilet brush, is it okay to put it in the dishwasher?!! Gee!

Gets the job done
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I wanted a brush that got under the rim and this does just that. The bristles are sturdy and it tucks nicely into its holder

Worth it…even for a toilet brush that seems unassuming
I don’t know how Oxo did it, but somehow these are the best toilet bowl scrubbers. I’ve used several others in the past and they don’t compare to these at all. These look good sitting by the toilet and the brushes haven’t gotten nasty after many many uses. I’m not sure how they’ve stayed good looking for so long, but they have. So worth the price! I realize now I shouldn’t have been a cheapskate in the past with my toilet brush purchases.

You simply can't go wrong with OXO
From can openers to assorted kitchen utensils and now a toilet brush, I have never bought an OXO product I didn't like and prefer to use over other brands.Unlike so many manufacturers of common, everyday products, OXO clearly puts a lot of research, out-of-the-box thinking, and time into designing highly functional, quality, ergonomic products. This toilet brush is no exception. The lid/cover smoothly hinges open/shut, the design is an attractive addition to any decor, and the brush cleans easily and effortlessly.
