Worth the money.
These are great lights. We've had them for about a month -used them for undercabinet lights in our kitchen to replace the 15 year old halogen puck lights that constantly burned out. Went the cheap route first with rolled LED strips, but they just didn't work right - a lot of connectors, and I think the transformer ended up frying before I even got to use them. So frustrating. These seemed expensive for what your get, but they are awesome - just peel and stick, then plug in the connectors. The kit provides a generous number of connectors and stick on 'clamps' to hold your wiring up and out of the way. The old rolled LEDs I tried were supposed to be warm white but ended up looking sourish, kind of green, so we got the bright white this time; much happier. A little clinical, but a better color overall. The only problem I had was that one of the light strips arrived broken, there was a bad connection at one of the plugs, and I spent a considerable amount of time tracing the system to figure out what the issue was, but I contacted the company and they sent a replacement within a week, so great customer service. I would recommend these lights, and I would buy them again.Update 8/29/19: These lights are still working great. I would still buy again.

I was hopeful for at least 15 years of good lighting at 3 hrs per day
I purchased this item on 9/1/2010, less than 8 years ago. These lights are installed under my kitchen cabinets and provided adequate but not exceptional lighting when they were new. They provided enough task lighting so I didn’t need to turn on the overhead lights for regular everyday use. After 6 months, 2 out of 10 failed. I contacted Inspired LED, sent them pictures of the failed strips and they sent me replacements a week later. It has been less than 10 years since I made this purchase and to date, 7 out of the 10 lighted strips are about 50% of their original brightness. The other 3 are about 25% immediately after turning on, and gets to about 30% after a few minutes where they remain without getting any brighter.I expected LED lights to last much longer than these did. We regularly see 25,000 hours advertised as the life expectancy of LEDs. These are advertised to last 10 years. If that is an official claim, why not offer a 10 year replacement warranty on the lights?Since we use these about 3 hours per day on average, I was not expecting such a short lifespan. I was hopeful for at least 15 years of good lighting at 3 hrs per day.The math may not add up after all so shop carefully. I now need to replace them but might go for something that uses low wattage LED bulbs instead of these as I can replace the bulbs as needed.

What they said, plus suggestions from experienced user.
These lights are terrific for the kitchen, which is where we use them. Other reviewers have covered the basics, so I'll just add a couple suggestions based on my installations in two kitchens. First, the cooks in my family much prefer the cool white over the warm white. We've tried both and it is much easier to see with the cool lights. I think it is because the contrast is better.Second, buy and use more strips than you had planned. I've ended up with essentially continuous strips, and even doubles in some areas. My wife is a serious cook and as far as she's concerned the more light the better. We are also not young and need a little more light. It's terrific that it is so easy to add lights.Third, take Inspired up on their offer of different length wires. I wish now that I had purchased a bunch of 4"-6" wires. My installation would have been much neater.Fourth, buy some small wood screws. Put the lights up with double sided sticky foam tape at first. Once you have them where your cook wants them screw them into the counter bottom. Make sure your screws are short enough that they don't go through. Having the tape attached allows you to use slightly longer screws, which makes it easier. Even the little clips they supply to attach extra wire should be screwed in. Every thing has screw holes, so this is easy. Without screws it seemed like we were constantly pushing one or another back up in place.Last, (and this really made a difference, brought smiles, and earned me points) I plugged the sets into a motion sensor plug so that they go on and stay on when someone is in the kitchen. This is such a nice touch. You won't regret it. Trying to use the switches Inspired includes, while nice enough, is difficult because you'll want to mount them under the cabinet out of sight, and they are hard to find, to say nothing about how sticky my cook would make them. I use this item from Amazon: http://amazon.com/SensorPlug-Motion-Activated-Electrical-Outlet/dp/B000A3CIUW/ref=sr_1_1?s=hi&ie=UTF8&qid=1419443758&sr=1-1&keywords=sensor+plug. It's easy and inexpensive. If you've looked at or tried other under counter lights you know that many of them create heat, use too much electricity, are bulky, and can be very expensive. The lights from Inspired are simple to install, create almost no heat, use minimal electricity, and they are comparatively inexpensive. In addition, it is simple to add additional lights and to reposition them.
