can this be used for 404a recovery?

Yes with a recovery machine. Make sure it's a clean tank and you label what you recovered. Never mix different refrigerants in the same tank.

Can it be used to recovery all types of refrigerants?

Yes we still use this tank works great haven’t had a issue we have ran all refrigerants and it recovers gases like butane and propane too! Great tank
