Just pay to have your gear repaired
Got it to path a sip nylon bag and the adhesive was shot before I even pulled the back of the patch off. I used it as a sandwich layer between my home stitching just to get my bag through. Don’t waste the money just send your gear in for repair professionally. Not even worth keeping as an emergency patch.

Works easily and holds well
I have an old heavy tent and I had lent it out and when they came back through his holes and slits in it. I used this tape works real well it was easy to. The only problem that I found was the expense it has two pieces that are 3 in by 5 in. you can tell on my white tent that there's been a patch but it does not look that bad and it's working so well who cares. If you are doing several holes it can get expensive. But it feels like a real good seal. On one hole I did the top and underside because there was material missing. Hope this helps

Works perfectly for tent hole
We had a small hole in our tent and this patch worked perfectly. It’s held up through rain and wind.

Tenacious fixes
I fixed a Haglöfs L.I.M. 25 backpack, which had a 3-4 cm long cut, with one patch and it worked perfectly. I went for a 4 day hike in the Pyrenees with a completely full backpack and had no issues at all. However, it didn't rain so I am still not sure how water resistant it is. Lets the time tell but I expect the fix to last long.
