OXO Good Grips All-Purpose Squeegee

This item is used to remove excess water from my shower doors. It works great. It also works well for removing excess water on the shower seat. It keeps the doors free of water spots. Very well made with a suction holder that works very well.

Never buy a lint roller again! This thing is amazing, works really well and is super easy to clean. I don't find the mount/suction-cup super useful but it's still nice to have as an option in case I ever decide to put it somewhere where I can use a suction cup. I primarily use this to clean my windows at home and as a WAY MORE EFFECTIVE lint roller. After 5 minutes of using the squeegee on my couch, I had pulled so much pet hair out that it looked like a sheet of dryer lint. This also happened right after I vacuumed the couch off with our super nice pet friendly vacuum cleaner. Using this as a pet hair remover for clothing is also a breeze. I used it on my slacks right after I took them out of the dryer - there was no visible pet hair on the pants - and it pulled so much pet fur and hair out of the actual fabric itself that it truly amazed me. The fabric of my slacks feels brand new now. It is way softer and looks much more brilliant (this is a weird adjective to use, I know, but it's really the best one I can think to describe how the pants look now). I guess my point is that this will make your clothing look better and last far longer if used properly (at least for me it will) and it will pull things out of the fabric that you can't even see with the naked eye - unlike a standard lint roller which only cleans what is on the surface of the fabric and not what is lurking within it. Afterwards I usually just use a Lysol wipe to clean the squeegee and that works wonderfully. You can clean it with water, but I find that when I use it as a lint roller, it creates static - and it is much simpler to just clean it off with a Lysol wipe than it is to clean it in the sink. Anyway, hope this review helps people! And hopefully this saves other people money in the same way it saved me some cash from not ever needing to purchase overpriced lint rollers again (that don't even work as well as this squeegee). This is our third shower squeegee in six months, since we moved here. The first had a hard plastic handle that shattered when my husband dropped it--three weeks after we bought it. The second was cheap, narrow, and its rubber edge tore loose, making its effective surface even narrower. This gem, however, is nice and wide, and its handle is soft, yet sturdy. It dropped once when its suction cup gave way, but it was completely unharmed. Its silicone edge is efficient and broad, and it does the job quickly and well. Two minor downsides: said suction cup has a tendency to roll its edges up. It's not round; it's elliptical. I think it has some kind of inferiority complex as a result, since it keeps pulling up its edges in an effort to create a perfectly round seal (and that's why it fell off the slanted windowsill). The other issue is super minor, and I've fixed it. If you pull the squeegee at a relatively right angle to the surface, it squeaks like chalk on a chalkboard. I have a sensitive ear from a concussion decades ago, and I can't have shrieks of doom turning my straight-walled, granite shower into a cage of torment. No, no. However, as long as I make sure to draw the squeegee across the walls and floor at a noticeably acute angle, it's perfectly quiet.

The OXO Good Grips squeegee is well=designed to fit perfectly in the palm of your hand (I have small hands) and glides easily on the glass shower doors with minimum streaking. It's very light, removes a lot of water with few strokes and works well also on the tile floor of the shower. The suction cup holds very well on the tile wall and has not fallen once in the month I have put it there. I recommend it very highly.

Look at those photos for results. Then read this: I recently moved and no longer have a professional cleaner come clean my bathroom for me every 2 weeks. So, I needed a way to make sure my shower was staying clean in between my deep cleans. This is PERFECT! Me and my roomie use it right after the shower, and it keeps our shower pretty immaculate. All the shampoo, conditioner, soap, hair, and water spots are swiped clean from the glass shower doors to be washed away on the bottom of the shower. I hate walking into my bathroom and seeing a dirty, cloudy shower door. This does the job beautifully. The suction on this is AWESOME! I've had it for a month and it hasn't separated from the shower wall, and we use it every day. The actual blade is easy to clean, I just spray some bleach-free cleaner on a paper towel to wipe off any grime. I also like to use this squeegee to get the condensation off the mirror. I typically stay in the bathroom for 15 minutes after I shower to do my skincare routine, and I like to be able to see my reflection. This wipes that right off without leaving streaks and also leaves the mirrors immaculate. BUY THE SQUEEGEE. It's worth every penny. I don't have even use a 1/3 of the window cleaner or bathroom cleaner I was using before buying this squeegee, since it does such a good job of just wiping all that daily grime down the drain. I like saving money and time, so I'll be using this daily to cut down on money spent on cleaning products and time.

A decent squeegee, but for an OXO product a bit of a let down. I like OXO products. In general I find them to be well-made, inexpensive, and reliable. This product certainly hits some of those points; this squeegee is very modestly priced and is constructed well. I have had this for almost five years and it has not fallen apart or noticeably deteriorated. The suction cup, which some have complained about, is the only part that has not lasted. It no longer stays attached to any surface. However, it did hold quite well for the first two or three years, so for a product this inexpensive, I'm not sure I can complain. The other main issue I have with it is that it does merely an okay job with it primary purpose. It cleaned off all the water from glass walls/doors in the shower, but always seemed to leave vertical streaks at the edges no matter how I used it or angled it. While they were not blatant, you'd certainly notice them if you looked. Not a deal-breaker, perhaps, but not something I liked. On another note, this ultimately proved to be a product I just wasn't sure I needed. I like my shower stall and other glass items to be streak free as much as anyone, but after a year or two it just became r e a l tedious to use it every time and slowly I just stopped bothering with it. Given that, you should ask yourself if you really need it. If yes, you still may want to at least glance at some other options before settling for this one.

As I write this review this All-Purpose Squeegee has over 1800 reviews and like 23% of people rate it a 3 star or less. I don't get it for $7 you get a nice little squeegee that is perfect for around the house. If you want to pay more for such a common thing then I guess there are better ones out there but for me, I am more than happy with this one. I am using mine in my enclosed shower to wipe down my glass door and subway tiles after showering. The included suction cup stuck nicely to my subway tiles and the squeegee worked great. The blade is made from soft silicone material and you can use a good amount of pressure when using this squeegee. The handle is rubber and the frame is plastic which is nice in the shower as to not crack my tiles. I also had no problem hanging or taking off the squeegee from the holder after it was suctioned on my tile. Finally, I like that the silicone blade goes all the way to the end of the plastic frame and is cut so that it extends past the end of the frame. This allows you to squeegee all the way to the end of a window and in the corners easily which is a good design in my opinion and if you compare this one to others you will see that a lot of them stop short of the end of the frame.. Anyway, I paid full price for my squeegee and I am not disappointed at all and if you need a decent squeegee I would definitely give this one a try before spending more money on a different one. If you are a professional window cleaner then by all means get a nicer one that fits on a pole but if you just need one for around the house this is the ticket.

Es la segunda que compro. Salen muy buenas. Jalan el agua muy bien. Las uso para quitar las gotas de agua de las puertas de vidrio de la regadera y la cerámica de las paredes. La deja casi seca. Ya al final quito lo que quede con un trapo.
