JASAMBAC Women German Dirndl Dress Costumes 3 Pieces Oktoberfest Carnival

My husband and I have been doing German fests for over a decade and I finally committed to the dress. We went to Munich for Oktoberfest on our honeymoon so I know what authentic looks like. This is a decent piece! Looks much better than the flimsy 1-piece costumes. Matches my authentic hat from our trip. I bought socks to go with to complete the outfit. For a reasonable priced more authentic looking piece this fits the bill. Sizing: I’m a pear shape, wear Carhartt/Old Navy 16 pants and size large (12/14) tops. The dress fit well and can be tightened. The top is a little big on me but I can fix that. Being 2 different sizes makes buying all in one items a challenge.

I think you can see from the photos how well made this Dirndl is. So much attention to detail! The color was vibrant, everything was sewn so nicely, parts were of nice quality. Fabric was soft to the touch and comfortable all day and into the evening. The little white top fit nicely and didn’t ride up like some others do. I had to iron it to make it look crisp which is what you should do. I am 5’1” tall, 185 lbs and ordered an XL which fit me perfectly. Excellent company with a quality product at a reasonable price! It matches the product description the fabric is soft. The embroidery is well done as well as the little metal clasps to draw in the bust area. The dress is surprisingly cool especially with the numerous layers of the under shirt, dress and apron the fabric is not too heavy and I think it will crease easily as it arrived very creased. The only negative aspect it ran a bit big and I did follow the measurements on the provided chart and the dress and shirt is too big especially in the bust area. Luckily there are darts on the back and a seamstress can take it in. So it’s not completely lost, just an extra expense. All in all a good purchase and happy with the quality.

Very well made! Good quality. The blouse is very short & feels weird but it works just fine. I will finish it off with white stockings & maybe clogs, then it’s off to the German Christmas market! Sized up & fits well.

Too small, sent back

I ordered this in 2 sizes, both XL and XXL because I wanted to make sure at least one would fit. I tried the XL first and was excited when I tried it on and it fit, but then I noticed the zipper was broken beyond repair so sadly it wasn't going to work. I then tried on the XXL but knew immediately it was going to be way too large. Besides the zipper issue I could tell it was a decent made dress and would be perfect for an upcoming Halloween party. I am returning both and will order again, but when I originally ordered it was on a flash sale so I got the original dress at a much cheaper price then the one I need to reorder. Overall good dress, just double check when you unpack it.

This dress is so cute!! It came wrinkled but thats the packaging for you, nothing a little ironing couldnt fix. It was a tiny bit big but thats how most things are for me. Honestly the apron tightens it all up anyway so it doesnt really matter unless you dont have the boobs to fill it. I ordered larger because of boobs and it all worked out. The material is thin but not cheap like a costume. The embrodery is excellent! It is longer than I expected but its cold so its fine, and that works great if you are looking for some kind of modesty. I honestly cant wait to wear this again for Oktoberfest.

I really wanted to love this costume. It fit well and was really pretty. Unfortunately, two of the ribbon clasps in the front broke when I wore it and I barely tugged at them. I had to sew them back on in the middle of the event I was at. I will sew them again, with more time, and wear this again but I shouldn’t have to do this at all.

les finitions et les broderies sont parfaites. Digne de la tenue traditionnelle ! Je m'habille en 42 mais là j'ai pris du 44 comme conseillé dans les commentaires et effectivement elle tombe parfaitement surtout si on a une poitrine opulente.

Despite the price the costume (once on & ironed) looks fab!!! Nice detail & comfortable! Deffo go one size up!
