BUYER ALERT, this seller is on purpose to mislead customer, why i said that, this product title is saying it is lotus root powder, but when I got it, i found it contains tapioca starch, you can google then you will know tapioca is toxic becuase it conatins Cyanogenic Glycosides. I am very angry about this buying although amazon customer gave me the refund. I have to write. honest review here to alert other buyers. it is not pure lotus root powder at all.

Not pure lotus root powder. The added tapioca starch really detracts from the product. To make sure it actually turns into the right consistency, add a bit of cold water to the powder first, stir and then add boiled water and mix.

My husband loves this stuff. The product came early. We were very pleased.

The bag is bigger than I expected. It took me awhile to reach the thicker consistency. The directions on the bag say to use 2 spoons per cup but it was very thin and runny. I added 2 more spoons and microwaved it before it became thick. I added sweetener and a little strawberry jam. I really liked it. This is not a fine powder. Its lumpy but if you use super hot water and stir consistently, the lumps go away. I will be trying another brand to see if it’s any different since this is my first time trying.

This is my first time trying lotus root powder and so I don’t have anything to compare it to but I thought it was good. I was concerned about it not being finely crushed but it you just mix it with cold water and make sure it’s mostly dissolved then add the hot water, it shouldn’t be a problem. I also found that 2 tablespoons of sugar was enough.

ist leider kein 100%iges Lotuspulver, das man in der Makrobiotik als sehr gutes Heilmittel für Lungenbeschwerden einsetzen kann(Bronchitis kurieren!). Aber dies steht nicht in der Produktbeschreibung--- nachbessern!! dann kann man sich sowas ersparen.
