I've started my natural hair journey, this is month 5 of no relaxers.. will this help me get my natural curl pattern as I transition?

Our Honey Curl Forming Custard will enhance and make curls more defined when styling. If you are newly natural and still have relaxed hair on the ends, this product may be too heavy. Is this curly girl friendly?

I am 4a/b/c, and this has been my favorite product so far! I used to be a product junkie. This gives the best definition without being sticky like KCCC, which I loved before I found this product. So yes, its curly girl friendly!!!

Is this a gel? what color is it and what is the consistency of this product?

It is a gel. Very light but deifinitely a gel.

Do you still apply a gel to the hair when using this?

I do not. It would be overkill for me to use this and another gel. My hair is somewhat fine, and doesn't need the extra boost of hold/definition. I will give it a try to see if it flakes (or any other weirdness) and update my answer with the results.

4a hair- Wash hair, blot excess water, apply Design essentias leave in conditioner to wet hair, then apply this product and let hair air dry.
