Infantry Mens Military Field Watch, Glow in the Dark Luminous, Nylon Band

Good cheap timepiece if you like wearing a wristwatch at work, but you know it’s going to take some abuse. Mine has got some scratches but I haven’t yet managed to break the crystal. The strap is easy to clean, dries quickly and the replacement batteries are inexpensive and easy to replace.

Waiting for a delivery of an expensive diving watch and in need of a watch for my sporting needs, I opted for this as an interim fix. However, it more than filled my need! Nice to look at! (Several compliments received.) Best part is the watch has not lost even 1 second after 3 weeks on my wrist. Never expected that level of accuracy!! While the current band suits the watch's appearance, an upgraded band would fool many into thinking it was far more expensive. Great watch to gift to a buddy...! I would categorize this as a "Best Buy"!

First, I like the watch. It's easy to read and so far, it seems to be accurate - still within a second after a day. I did another reset just to get it "exactly on the nose," so I can measure accuracy better again after a week or so. If it's way off at next test, I'll update my review. I could get nitpicky about the second hand not "exactly" hitting every "tic" mark right on the dot. Ok, so basic circle geometry and plotting points at exactly every 6 degrees (360/60) should be something we've gotten pretty nailed down, since we've had watches now for hundreds of years. It should also be pretty easy to align a seconds hand with a watch face. Yeah, that would have been nice to see. I can live with it though. If I ever need to open it up I might try wiggling something. But I probably won't. The color and finish of the bezel is nice. It is quiet. I can only hear it ticking if I hold it right up to my ear. From even an inch away I don't really hear much. That's nice. I have other watches that keep me awake if I leave them in bedroom at night, just from the ticking. This one did not. I like that it doesn't have a calendar that I need to reset every few months. I can look at a calendar for the date. I only ever need to know the time when glancing. The face luminosity is pretty decent. It glows very bright if you hit it with a bright light, but the glow does recede fairly quickly. I charged it up with a flashlight and when I awoke after about 6 hrs, I could still just see the glow slightly across the room, but not enough to make out the hands. I took some pictures while it was still dark after recharging it with a light again. You may not be able to tell exactly how bright it was, but relative brightness between the two pictures, which were taken about 18 minutes apart. The glow is greatly reduced in that time. After 30 minutes, the camera could no longer pick it up (but my eyes could still make it out and make out the hands - your eyes may vary). It's a little smaller than some watches, so if you're into giant watch faces, look elsewhere. But the face fits the size of my wrist pretty well. The only thing I'm not really that thrilled with is the band. It's very thin and long. It doesn't feel uncomfortable. My wrist isn't huge though, and the band is so long that it almost wraps clear back around across the watch face, which looks a little untidy. There doesn't appear to be any adjustable positioning to play with, so I will likely either try trimming the band (tricky, as edges will need to be melted again to keep it from fraying) or just replace it eventually. I'm not sure if the pins holding it on the watch are removable (some other reviewers complained about that), so that's something I'll have to look into. If I can't resolve the fit of the band, I'll update my review again. But the band was basically the only thing that kept me from giving the watch five stars. The colors on it are fine, but the extended length and lack of adjustability are a little disappointing. Edit: It's been several weeks since I last reset the time now, and the watch is still on the nose accurate, within one second! Amazing! My other watch of another brand lost about 20 seconds in that same amount of time. Luminescence seems to fade a bit quicker now, but still useful.

This is a good watch for the price. Will it lume all night, I don't think so but the lume does last a long time for a watch that cost so little. I am very satisfied with this purchase.

Works great. I gave the luminous face a couple hours under a table lamp. When I went for my nightly half hour walk it glowed green the entire trip. Did not dim out like other watches with luminous hands/digits. So I know it glows for more than half an hour. My 2nd watch from this manufacturer. The other is an infantry watch OD green. Had it for 4 years daily use and still runs great. Changed the batt once. Could not see it in the dark at all. So, this new purchase for nights. I recommend it.

MY HURRICANE WATCH! I surf a lot, enough that I need to know what time it is before I go to work, it if I've been in the water long enough that my wife wants to leave me now ( and I don't mean she went with me to the beach) I give this watch 5 stars because for two years I best the crap out of this watch every paddle every stroke through hurricane swells and all. I recognized I liked it so much that I bought a second one. I upgraded the strap got a thicker 20mm nato and a lense protector for literally $10 more I turned this bad mama jama into a tank of a watch. Highly recommend.

Glow in the dark feature is worthless - doesn't do anything near what it proports to do (the reason I bought this was for the glow in the dark feature

I tested it by shining my phone's light on the face of the watch for several seconds then going outside into the dark. At first it was very bright and very easy to read. I was impressed. Within 15-20 mins, most of that brightness was gone and it was barely able to read in the dark. The glow definitely won't last for hours without being "recharged". For the price, it's not a bad watch, but the band feels kind of cheap and you definitely get what you pay for so don't expect it to be all that great.

Price: INR 4000 due to credit card discount Pros: Dial - Clean and expensive looking. Perfectly adhering to the Field Watch aesthetic. Hands looking sturdy, seconds hand is red and looks perfect. Case - Matt satin finish with a darker shade, perfect fit with the dial. Lume - Strong and bright - so bright that if actually casts a glow on nearby objects in the dark. Cons: Strap - Texture and feel are on the cheaper side. Overall: Great buy, let's see how it holds up. Alternatives are Timex Weekender and Expedition Camper. But you'll have to buy these from Desert cart.

Had the watch for almost a month now and it works great nothing broken or had to be replaced. This is definitely worth the price its almost to good to be true. The glow in the dark effect is bright and allows for the easy ability to read the time and no complaints. The wrist strap is comfortable and allows for the watch to be kept on for hours. Overall a great watch at such a low price point would recommend!

El producto llego en tiempo y en buenas condiciones. Se siente de buena calidad al tacto, la correa es muy cómoda y se siente resistente. La presentación en la caja que contiene al reloj es linda. Lo más bonito de este reloj es el color del dial y sus manecillas que contrastan a la perfección y el detalle de la manecilla del segundero en color rojo y su forma en flecha es hermoso. El Lumen es muy bueno y se aprecia todo a la perfección, sin embargo no dura mucho, aproximadamente 2:30 a 3 hrs en total oscuridad, después de eso aún podrías distinguir la posición de las manecillas con algo de esfuerzo... A pesar de eso, por el precio es una excelente opción, es sencillo pero muy funcional y sin dudas robara miradas. Le doy 5 estrellas al producto...

Bonito pero no es de acero, su luminosidad apenas si se nota y su correa esta muy mal hecha, muchas rebabas y rasposa. Por unos pesos mas mejor opta por un timex o un Casio. yo le di una oportunidad a la marca pero salieron mentirosos.
