These are beautifully made, heavy, sturdy and the highest quality as one would expect from Villroy and Bach. So simple but with the thick rim they are nicer than your average white plate. Bowls are cute but on the smallish side. I LOVE the pasta bowl and LOVE they come as part of the set instead of coffee cups that I likely wouldn't use.

Wish I could give this more stars. So durable, beautiful and expect to have these forever. I use the past bowl instead of the large plates. I added small bowls to this set

Let me start by saying I’ve been shopping for a quality porcelain set for the family for a while. I just received these a few days back and was worried that the shippers had broken pieces because of the mangled state of the box it came in. Clearly, this company cares about their products so much that they take good care of packing the inside of the box and all of its contents. This is the company I’m going to be buying more products from. The dishes, exude beauty and quality the minute that I’ve opened the box. Every single piece was intact. Again, this company cares about their products, starting with shipping. This is a brand I will look for again. I can’t wait to use these. Now, I’m looking for the matching coffee cups; I’ve already ordered the espresso cups. I want more pieces!

The set is beautiful in color, quality, and design. However the bowls are more realistically made to hold 12 Oz. They may hold 14 Oz if you fill them to the brim. They do not scratch with silverware and have a nice weight to them.

Only used for a few days, but really love it! Porcelain material is much lighter than stoneware yet seems durable and is perfect to use as every day dishware. The lip on the small bowl is a little on the thick side, but otherwise, I love the design, especially the pasta bowl. The 2 sets I ordered were packaged extremely well (like 3 layers of boxes) so nothing was broken during shipment! I almost ordered this from Home Depot since they were selling it a little cheaper, but stuck with Amazon because I trusted their shipping (and returns) a little more than HD. Glad I did!

I was thrilled after ordering the dinnerware, but disappointed to see the price drop by $25 before it even arrived. I love the size of all 16 pieces, but two have problem. One pasta plate and one rice bowl have black dots on the underside. Since these flaws won’t be visible when set on the table, I hope they’ll be okay. Still, it’s been a long time since I bought crockery, and I feel upset about the scratches.

If you are looking for modern, simple white dishes these are exactly what you need. They feel sturdy and the design is like a little piece of art in your hand. If you use the microwave a lot, I would not recommend, heating up rice in a bowl it was a different kind of heat than some other dishes. I don't mind heating up in a different dish and then transferring to these dishes, but if you're the type that can't be bothered, these might not be for you. I love these dishes and so far, easy to wash and stack without any chips.

Grateful that the dinner set arrived with no piece broken and in a timely manner.

I’m still waiting the feedback but there is no answer until today…need to be careful when you place an order. It could be delivered in broken condition and you won’t get any feedback. Place an order at your risk.
