Strong, Durable, Reliable, Best option out there
I have a long history of breaking my phone, shattering my phone screens, dropping my phone in water, and so on. Every phone I've ever had, I've damaged and have had to replace. I've tested many phone cases and screen protectors, and the only phone case that I was able to find that kept my phone secured and protected was this ArmadilloTek case. I've looked into Mous and QuadLock, but I just wasn't willing to invest $65 (or so) in a phone case. UAG was another great option. I had quite a few UAG cases, but I damaged each of my phones and their screens with those cases. They're great and I'm sure others had phenomenal results but, for me, ArmadilloTek takes the cake. I've accidentally dropped my phone enough times now, and from high enough heights, that there should be a problem. I've dropped it onto concrete, asphalt, rocks, dirt, you name it. My phone has yet to see ANY impact whatsoever. The only "issue" I had with this case was the stand. However, the sole reason I had any issue at all was because my phone fell out of my hand with the stand open and it dropped on the stand. This is the only reason I had to buy a new case. It wasn't the stand/case itself. It is a two-part case. You have a front and back piece. When putting it on, you have to place the front piece on the front of your phone first, and then the back piece clips in around it. You'd have to see it for yourself, but to me it's very secure. It's so secure that, sometimes, it's hard to get the back piece off. To me, this is a good thing. You only need to worry about taking off the case when you're changing it. Besides that, it's meant to stay put and remain secure. And this accomplishes that tremendously. I've had other two-part cases, all they've all popped out when dropped. This ArmadilloTek doesn't budge. You can stand your phone up vertically or horizontally with the stand. The charging port has a cover, also, which is a great feature. This is a strong case, and phenomenal considering the price. Worth the try if you're considering it.

Lasted five years
This case was perfect. It's lasted for five years. Just started to break apart and I am hard on my phone. Dropped hundreds of times jumped in water and this case has helt up through it all Matter of fact I was thinking about upgrading my phone but when I removed my old case phone was perfect so I'm gonna buy this case again. The company has changed the name of the company now since I purchased but they carry cases for different new phones now buy from them. I've never had a phone case last this long.

ArmadilloTek Vanguard vs. SUPCASE Unicorn Beetle Pro
Update 6/17/2021: I dropped the phone a week ago about 4 feet onto a hard marble floor. It cracked the hard front frame at the corner, but the phone was protected undamaged. The outer shell remained undamaged. I contacted ArmadilloTek and they are sending me a replacement frame free of charge. Original Review: I tried out both cases for the Samsung S21 Ultra and in the end prefer the ArmadilloTek. 1. The quality and drop protection of both cases are excellent, however ArmadilloTek case has a better raised screen edge lip that gives important additional screen protection. The SUPCASE is more flush with the screen at the sides so it is slightly more functional for the edge bar feature, but is also more at risk for edge screen damage. I do not use the edge bar (I find it annoying), and highly prefer a more robust protection of the screen edges. I have dropped a phone at the exact angle against a protruding metal object which cracked the screen at the edge before. The AmardilloTek raised screen edge will prevent that better than SUPCASE. 2. The rubber feels a little softer on the SUPCASE, but is not an important factor. Both have appropriate grip marks on the sides. Both have smooth back plates (slippery). 3. The side button rubber texturing IS MUCH better on the ArmadilloTek. The buttons are much easier to find by touch with the ArmadilloTek because they protrude out slightly more and each button has it's own distinct rubber covering. On the SUPCASE, the volume buttons coverings meld into each other. Because the overall length of power button is similar to the overall length of the melded two volume buttons, I often found myself hitting volume down instead of power button. 4. Kickstand on the SUPCASE definitely appears more durable, although it doesn't always sit flush as easily when tucked in (I have to be more mindful to push it in a little harder so it's flush). I had my last ArmadilloTek kickstand semi fail after 1 year (on my S10+), although it was still semi usable without the ability to lock in place when extended (did lock in place when tucked away). The SUPCASE kickstand comes out closer to the bottom of the phone and allows a more upright portrait view that is better for neck strain when viewing in this orientation. However, it doesn't feel stable and you can easily knock it over while interacting with the screen or some desk vibration (for some reason the kickstand footprint is slightly curved which lends to decreased stability... WHY WOULD THEY DO THAT??). The ArmadilloTek kickstand protrudes out more near the middle, so has a more stable stand position that allows interaction of the screen without falling over, but you strain your neck a little more due to the lower angle in portrait mode. In landscape mode, the ArmadilloTek is a more stable for interaction due again to the more middle positioning of the kickstand, and the viewing angles are the same in landscape mode compared to SUPCASE. ArmadilloTek REALLY NEEDS to improve the kickstand mechanism as the connection points are very thin and are obviously prone to failure. I would plan to have the ArmadilloTek kickstand to fail with the current design in a few months and definitely before 2 years if you use it regularly. You can still use the kick stand mostly normally in portrait and landscape mode when the locking mechanism fails. 5. SUPCASE red is way more appealing and true red. ArmadilloTek red is a salmon-pink/red. SUPCASE color is much better. In the end I much preferred the screen edge protection of the ArmadilloTek over SUPCASE as the decisive factor.

Great Otter Box style and quality case
This case is on par with any otter box case I've ever owned at a fraction of the price. It is reasonably thin and the bezel protects the screen when its placed screen down. Ive dropped my phone a few times and it didnt break. I think I've had this case around 2 years or so and the only thing that broke is the tripod on the back. However, it broke in an area that still lets me use it and it isn't flopping around. The plastic bezel did crack when i dropped the phone quite violently, but im glad it did because the phone didnt break. The buttons are nice and clicky, and dont snag on your pockets. This is a low drag case coming out of the pocket and it looks reasonably sharp. I think this case was a great buy 2 to 3 years later. Im still using it to this day. The tripod did break in a still-functional kind of way so i cant quite give it 5 stars, even though i highly reccomend this case and would 100% buy it again.

If you need to protect your phone, there is no better case for the money than ArmadilloTek
I had been using UAG (Urban Armor Gear) cases for my last couple of phones. I like them. My wife has also been using one to protect her mint condition Samsung Note 9 for about 6 years and she drops that phone a lot. However, when I recently upgraded from a Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus to the S21 Ultra 5G, I paused before buying another UAG case. The main reason honestly was price. I didn't want to spend another $60-$65 on a phone case, even if it does have nice little accents like leather and stainless screws on the back. So I did some research and found various ratings of the most protective phone cases. After all, even if I was going to look for a better value in a case, I was not about to skimp on protection on a new flagship Samsung. I came across ArmadilloTek in several lists. I was somewhat skeptical that their cases were available from $15 to $22 yet claimed protection as good as an OtterBox Defender. But multiple reviews sung the praises of this small company in Texas and its cases. So I figured, I'll give them a try and for $18, at least I won't be out much money if the experiment fails. So I bought the Vanguard in black. When I received the case, I was very pleasantly surprised by the build quality. First off, the outer shell is thick and built like a tank. The separate inner case, which is more flexible, fit extremely tight to the phone. Overall, the tolerances were really good. This thing fits like a glove. It was even slightly difficult to get it on the phone but this was a function of conforming so well to the phone's dimensions in addition to the fairly rigid case materials. Prior to install, I applied a good quality screen protector as well as a camera lens protector. These items did not interfere with the case at all. Once on the phone, this ArmadilloTek case fit like a glove, with perfect alignment to the buttons, ports, and other openings. The flap over the USB-C port works well and actually seems better than the one on the OtterBox. My S21 Ultra is extremely well protected in this case. I haven't tried any intentional drops but I am sure that this case, by it's sheer hardness and density of the outer shell, absorption of the inner shell, and 3mm raised lip all around the phone screen surface (a more prominent lip than I've seen on any other case), would absolutely afford a high level of protection. The marketing material claims it exceeds military standards and can survive at least a 21 foot drop and that would not surprise me. In the hand, the case has a good grip with ribbing on the side edges. The back is somewhat more slick (as opposed to rubbery) but I don't find that has any effect on grip. I've never felt like the phone might slip out of my hand in this case. Also, the built in kick-stand works well, especially on a very large phone like the S21 Ultra. About the only potential negative about this case is that it does add some bulk compared to the UAG Monarch and similar cases I've owned previously. However, even the vaunted UAG does not consist of separate layers and honestly I am not even sure it would provide equivalent protection (especially as the lip on the UAG is not nearly as pronounced). Still, you do need to accept that the ArmadilloTek Vanguard will add some bulk to your phone. For a phone like mine that is already large, it definitely becomes an armored phablet with the Vanguard. But if like me, you need or want serious protection for your expensive phone, you will feel safer with this case than just about anything on the market. An OtterBox Defender may be on par but is substantially more expensive and I'm not even sure it would beat this case head to head in sheer armor. (Also, this case has more of a military/tactical vibe compared to the OtterBox, which always said "tech nerd" to me). I can't speak to the wireless charging capability that the case claims, as I have not been using wireless charging with my phone. This will now be my go-to case for future phones when I want serious rugged protection. At this price, it's a heck of a value too. I think that this company ought to come up with a line of similar cases with the same protection and add a few "luxury" accents (like leather or titanium)....I would buy one!

Best heavy duty case i tried.
Armadillo Tek cases are my favorite by now. I get those for every phone. Beefy built but not too bulky. Has the best (imo) implementation of kick stand for either vertical or horizontal use (unlike many other designs) that keeps it very steady and holds up to years of heavy usage. Enough to say because of construction/maintenance nature of my work it seen repeated abuse, drops and dirty environments on a daily basis - keeps the phone alive and non damaged. And works great with wireless chargers which is no small thing cause some heavy or thick designs can impede that. Thanks!

Don't want to break the bank on a solid protective case? Look no further.
I bought the Galaxy S21 Ultra, and I immediately purchased a slim, cheap case to try to protect it. Even after a week, I never felt confident in the durability of the case when it comes to protecting my $1200 phone. After worrying constantly about breaking/damaging this expensive investment, I decided to check out the XDA forums and see what other S21 owners have been using to protect their phones. I stumbled across a post about a program from a small company in Texas that allowed you to get a phone case from them to try and promote the case and get the name out there. Having a big case on an already large phone was not something I wanted, but I realized it was something I needed if I want to really protect this phone. I submitted the form and was contacted by the companies Founder/CEO. The fact that he reached out to me personally was incredible and got me excited to try their Vanguard case. After receiving the case, I put it on and instantly fell in love with it. It looked great, felt amazing, and gave me peace of mind. The case has a built-in kickstand which, in my opinion, works quite well. The sides of the case are made with a fairly grippy silicone, while the back of it is made from polycarbonate. For me, that's one of the best features. It's grippy enough that I'm comfortable and confident that it won't slip out of my hand, but it's not so grippy that I can't pull it out of my pocket without pulling the entire picket inside out. One of my main concerns was wireless charging. After using the case for a couple of hours, I decided to try and see if it will allow wireless charging. Sure enough, it works perfectly. I'm able to use Fast Wireless charging AND I can use the reverse wireless charging on my Galaxy Buds Pro. NFC works great. The raised edge around the screen and around the camera bump helps prevent me from worrying about scratching either of them. The buttons on the side feel fantastic. They aren't hard to press like some other case I've used, and it just strikes a nice balance between protection and ease of use. Now I do have to note that I did not test how well it protects against drops/hard impacts. While it would have been nice to test that, I wasn't willing to take a risk and intentionally drop it. Even though I didn't test the drop protection, I feel 100% confident it would prevent damage to my phone. Overall, I'm extremely pleased with this case. Purchasing a $50+ phone case that doesn't have a built-in kickstand, isn't as comfortable to use, or as easy to pull out of my pocket is something I just can't justify after using this case. For all of my phones I will purchase over the years, this company will be my go-to. I love this case so much that I plan on purchasing the Purple variant as well. If you want a case that has a built-in kickstand, allows wireless charging, has NFC capabilities, and does not break the bank, look no further as this is the case to get.

Great case with a MAJOR FLAW
***UPDATE after a 2nd purchase within 8 months: 1 severe flaw with this near perfect case is the poorly made hard plastic frame. After 3 months of my first purchase of this case the hard plastic (inner) frame starts to become flaky and parts of it starts to come apart in various places! At first I thought it was just an unlucky defective part so I purchased another one but the plastic inner frame on the new one only lasted about 2 months before the same thing happens! It's really disappointing because I really love the case but pieces keeps falling apart. The phone was never dropped so this type of thing shouldn't happen at all! ------------------------------------- This case is the only one in the right market now that offers a real kickstand. If you're looking for a durable case with a quality kickstand this is it. Most of the cases I have seen has the snap out folded kickstand that is faulty because it could not stand steady while in portrait mode. This case feels very sturdy the buttons feels really nice and there are enough attraction at the bottom to make it not slippery when resting on a flat surface. I have installed a film screen protector on the touch screen and a tempered glass protector on the cameras in the back and they all fit really well. Due to the way the kickstand was designed with a bar that locks the kickstand leg you can insert a finger through the kickstand while is opened and effectively keeping the phone from falling off your hand (look at the photos). One little suggestion: On the camera corner backside I wish it would have a slightly raised corner bump to make the case no wobble when pressing down on the top right corner while phone faces upward. Still near perfect case. 👍👍👍 At this price I would definitely buy another ArmadilloTek case. I'm hoping for a White version in the future!

Indestructible
Military grade. Almost indestructible. During army day I dropped my phone from a higher height and it actually made it quicker to the ground than I did and it was fine. 😊

Great Case but be wary
I really like the case. Better grip than what I had on the Unicorn Beetle and the lip protection is all around. This works with my 3rd party screen protector and has enough space to take glass protectors. Its accidentally fallen a couple times and survived. The case is sturdy and can sometimes be a bit hard to take out the phone. There is an issue with the inner case sticking out causing it to be (maybe 1mm) over the outer case in which may cause issues when dropped (the inner case breaking). Read below if your ordering from Canada and want a replacement. Be aware, if you buy this from Canada or outside of the States. Their warranty is only good in the states. If you want a warranty replacement to Canada, you'll need to pay $18 USD which is the shipping cost. I'm tempted to pay for it but some people may not like this.

Sie scheint echt ziemlich stabil und gut zu sein da das Handy aber schon ziemlich groß ist.Zusammen in der panzerschutz Hülle ist es natürlich noch viel größer! Aber scheint top zu sein

Awesome
It's really amazing. I didn't expect that it was really that much quality and really it didn't give any damage on my phone even it falls a lot of times.. 👏👏👍👍

Excelente protector
