Sticks with the original story with some little changes which are actually good. We see Rei piloting unit-01 which is cool. Great book, but the whole set

A must-have for any Evangelion fan!
What more can I say? This beautiful collection of the Evangelion manga is what I'd consider a love letter to the fans. The first three volumes of the original manga are reproduced in sharp quality, and between each volume are full color art pages, interviews, and statements from the artists and others who worked on Evangelion. Incredible quality collector's piece at a great price, and after finishing the anime, I can't wait to dive into the manga experience for the first time!
