For the past few months I have been dealing with our neighbors outdoor cats using my flowerbed as a litter box and digging up my plants.......I tried every natural thing that I could in the flowerbed: cayenne pepper, garlic powder, lemon, red pepper flakes and even coyote urine granules I bought from a local store. None of it worked.......every morning I would wake up to a huge mound(s) of mulch and cat poop in my flowerbed. I was so frustrated that I was thinking of changing the mulch out for lava rock but I thought I would try an ultrasonic device before I went to that kind of trouble. I researched several different devices and finally decided on this one because it wasn't too expensive and had a wide span for picking up the animals body heat. Since I put this device in my flowerbed I have not had a single cat poop in my flowerbed, it worked so well that I was actually surprised because these types of devices get mixed reviews and the company said it may take a little while for it to work. Anyways I was thinking of ordering another one for when I put in my garden later this spring to make sure the cats stay out of there as well.*****UPDATE***** This product does work for my neighbor cats, however it does go through batteries really quickly and as soon as it is removed the cats start coming back. The other part is that I would not suggest paying $40 for this product, I bought it at less than $25 but since then the price has doubled and that is ridiculous.

Seller send a a million papers and encourages questions and they are there to help.I sent a email asking for help, 4 days later no response. I am not sure its working as thereare cats in my yard just 15 feet away, the deer I don't know they come at 3am usually but unsurewhere I have them set works. Not impressed by the customer service and waiting 4 days is not horrible.But when a company pushed the fact they are there for you and then doesn't respond timely I question thecommitment to the product, this is actually the longest response I have had from any Amazon seller most are24 hours not 4 days and as of the time of this review still no answer. They should not push the customer service as aselling point and then not deliver, sure people are busy but making that claim requires backing it up and is why I marked a star for it.The unit is small, and motion lens wont last long in direct sun light its made of the same material you seeon motion sensor lights thats a huge concern where I have mine located summer sun will be on it along time because thisis the problem area. I may try and mount it close to the house if and when I can see it working.Its battery run or ac thru the adapter. for the price I was expecting more options and a better built for weather,this will most likely fade the first summer and the stake is thin and will most likely break with hot coldchanges its just to thin.Does it work, I have no idea it did not repel cats in my yard only feet away I do have it for deer and that needs to be seen.I will increase stars if and when customer service ever responds and if I can ensure the unit works,Right now not impressed by the unit or the service.This thing is pricey compared to other units and it does not have free shipping or prime eligibleit arrived on time which was good being I paid for shipping.I can't recommend it yet, not sure its legit due to my experience so far.Update :Unit lights up, and test work as the should. I have more animals in my yard now then before.This unit is not working as it should, not worth the hassle of returning the item.But it does " NOT" work as it should its just an expensive piece of plastic in my yard :)

Im not sure if this thing works or not. The geese just go where they went before I set this up. I think if I created a wall of these, it might work but 1 is doing nothing. We need something loud and piercing. This is not loud and not piercing.

I live in the country and have woods behind my house. I had major problems with raccoons pooping on my front and back porch for many years. I don't have a dog so there wasn't anything to keep them in check. The problem would go away for awhile then come back stronger than ever. For some reason they liked pooping on my door mat and on the stairs going up onto the porch. I would clean off the poop and it would come back worse than ever. I finally got to my wits end when there was so much poop on my front door steps that I couldn't use it without skipping over the top step. I started researching on the internet to try to come up with a solution and found out about the Cleanerth animal repellers. I ordered four TSAR520's and anxiously waited for them to arrive as the poop was steadily piling up on my porch steps. When I got them I took a whole evening cleaning up all the poop and scrubbing the porch floors and stairs with a high pressure washer. I installed a TSAR520 by each of my porch steps, 2 in the front of the house and 2 in the back. I did all this before leaving on a week long vacation. I thought boy if these things don't work the coons are really going to have a hayday when I'm gone. I came home from vacation and couldn't find one single coon turd on an my porch or steps. I was overjoyed and can honestly say in the last year since I installed them I have only found 1 coon turd on my steps, I'm not sure how he got past the repeller but he must have had a bad experience because he never came back. With all that being said I'm sure it comes as no surprise to you that I recommend this product 100% to anyone who has problems with coons or any other pesky animals hanging around there house at night. My friends always liked to give me a hard time about raccoons pooping on my front door mat but thanks to Cleanrth I got the last laugh😃👍PS I keep my repellers plugged into an outdoor outlet and leave them on the highest setting. I'm sure they work fine with the 9 volt batteries but I highly recommend plugging them in so you don't have to worry about changing batteries.
