A word of warning, however
While l-glutamine can be very helpful for most people, there are those for whom it is contraindicated. I found out (the hard way) that I should not supplement with l-glutamine because I am GABA deficient. Glutamine become glutamate in the body, which is an excitatory neurotransmitter. Excess glutamate should be converted by the body into GABA (and can be converted back into glutamine when there is need) but this can be disrupted or impaired due to: genetics, disease, nutritional deficiencies, etc. I suffer from migraines, and taking supplemental glutamine lead to more frequent attacks, of greater intensity and of longer duration. (Think MSG headaches for those of you prone to these.) So, while Dr's Best is a great brand, be careful and check if this supplement is for you. Work with a doctor &/or a nutritionist.

Feeling more energized- good in smoothies
I put a scoop (5 grams) in a little water to quickly take it in the morning. I didn't like the taste but when I added more water to make a glassful, there was no taste. I really like the way I feel on it & it seems to make me feel better the longer I take it which has been less than a week. I have watched every You Tube video on it. It says to start slow and increase the dosage to 2 x daily so at bed time I only used 1/2 scoop.
