probably to begin with, then apply aquaseal with cotol after. also made by gear aid ( it's not contact cement) the cotol is a hardener that quicken things up

You could, but it would make your "costume" uncomfortable, because wherever you put the seal, itʻs a little bit on the "rough" side. I would advise against your idea.

Very good. Much easier to work with than the old thicker Aquaseal cement. In fact, it’s a bit runny so care is required. Very strong bond. Highly recommended.
